what is the positive side of being insecure?

the word insecure gives, if not everybody, some, a negative connotation. but i believe that it has also its positive sides. i think one would be, that being insecure would allow you to realize the things that you lack or you get to know your weaknesses as a person. and with this way, you'd be able to improve yourself and focus on those weaknesses for them to become your strengths. i think this is one benefit of insecurity. what do you think are some good effects of being insecure?

Hmmm... The problem with insecurity is that you compare yourself with others and i think that that is unfair. I believe that there are things that are not really meant to be. There are things that you really are not meant to have; there are things that you really cannot master as it is not really meant for you.

If someone is insecure, that means that they are actually thinking of different outcomes of a situation and threy are cautious enough not to jump right into something without knowing what kind of consequences they might face. That's a good thing. Having that said, I HATE being insecure (but I am), because I tend to overanalyse things.
