There are some factors to consider to know if it is original. Try to check this out for you to know. http://flyrr.typepad.com/blog/2010/08/how-to-tell-if-your-ray-ban-sunglasses-are-fake-or-original.html

I have no clue. To me they are all the same. I never cared about any designer brands. If you like them then that's all that counts.

Lots of women look good in sunglasses. Well, only the good looking ones. And you do make the sunglasses look good. It's cool that you are into shades lately. There is something mysterious about them as well when a pretty girl wears them.

Hmm, try to scratch the Ray-Ban logo on the lens. If it comes off easily, yours is a fake. Or you could visit a Ray-Ban outlet and ask the salesperson :) Out of curiosity, what would you do if you found out it's a fake? It was given after all from the mother of your boyfriend.

@ nurseclare, this is a good suggestion from beamer88. just visit any department store and ask the sales person assigned in ray-ban if the shades that you got are real or knock-offs.

I think it's harder to identify original Ray-ban@ sunglasses these days than it was a few years or decades back because of a lot of fakes being manufactured in Asia, not just sunglasses but they fake all the other popular and expensive designer brands you can think of. There are what you call class "A" fakes that are very hard to tell apart even for some experts. I think your best bet here is if you know where it came from, you trust the one who received the pawn and you know that he or she is knowledgeable. Also take to consideration how much it was pawned, a too low price is a give away and know the reason why it was not redeemed, good luck on your decision.

Thanks louie, you're definitely right it's hard to say which is original anyway it depends on how the person bring her self. :)
