Doing the unpleasant first awesome and yes, it does free up to tackle other tasks that are less unpleasant. Whenever possible try to do things in the order that leaves you the most fun things to cap off your day... like eating desert last. I wanted to say this tho. There is this principle called inertia. Imagine a 500 pound round rock. You can barely start it rolling, right? I mean this thing is huge and when you look at it, it seems as if it will never get moved unless some other person or team comes to do it. If you put your back to it, just push and push with all your might you will see it start to roll, just a little bit at first. As it rolls it becomes a bit easier to move this large rock and you expend a little less energy to keep it rolling until finally the rock requires very little work to move. The point is that JUST START and you will often find you gain momentum and the things we procrastinate about will seem to build momentum until they are complete. Thanks for a great question.

Dear ircurts, Thanks for sharing your rolling rock story with me, yes you are right, often than not the things we come across seems huge and we can barely handle it unless we resort to others. However when we put all our energy and might, we find it begin to roll a little bit slower at first, when it dose rolls it will rolls faster than we original expected, thanks for this meaningful little story, I appriecate it. have a nice day;) Molly;)
