Do you ever believe that Internet Affair is possible? that you might find someone here in some circumstances that could fill your heart and life's emptiness? Well, I do because this is where i found my wife. Believe it or not, we only meet in a certain online dating site. I'm in the other part of the world working and she's way back in my country. Eventually, our simple chats and video calls turned into meaningful acquaintance and developed into a serious relationship. It may seem impossible for others to find true love here but for us its not. Its just so happen, that both of us were sincere and very open to what and who we really are with no pretensions. This is why respect, trust and love comes easily to both of us which i believe are the fundamentals of a life-time commitment. Its not the distance that matters nor how are you both meet each other - Its mostly between the TWO of You.

Thank you Chicgale for supporting my dream but searching isn't part of it, it doesn't count all you need is a luck and GODs favour and it might just you that someone is looking for.

Ive seen a lot of those love stories here in the country. Incredible, but real. While many hope to find their one true love online, there can be mishaps in the process. I'm sure not everyone on those sites are sincere about their love quest. There sure will be some people who are just looking for ways to take advantage of others.
I'm happy for you and your wife. Have a long happy marriage.

Quite true some people out there on internet dating sites are not sincere and deceitful, but one has to be very careful so as not to be a victim if scam. This is one of the reasons why internet dating are so hard to get into but for me the most preferred would be social networking sites because some people out there are looking out for a life partner too.

thanks jureathome..you really have to be careful because not all in the dating site are very truthful of themselves. But you can actually know whom are those true or not. In our situation, because we were really into each other and there's nothing for us to hide, we give each other different sites where both of us can view each other's profile, pictures and some details about us for us to know each other better not just through chatting, privates messaging and video calling. It really depends on both of you actually.

Right, there's Facebook, twitter and other social network sites that you can check out about a person. I never really experienced doing that. I think the closest to online dating that I did was just chatting, when it first got popular in our place. I was just 18, then. I did a couple meet ups but nothing good really came out of it.

Several classmates of mine find their lovers online and now they are married with the guys.
I think online love is possible but risk. At first, you can not sure the one talk to you is a man or not. Some people will protect to be other person who is totally different from the one in their daily life.
But online people will show their true feeling to other, not hide their emotions, that help you know a person well.

Dandan, am happy for your classmates and I hope you still keep in contact with them, and finally do you ever wonder if you could ask them how it is really going with both parties involved because I have heard in some cases it never works out as characters become new thing you have to learn about your partner all over.

It is true that it is a great risk-taking specially when you really want to commit and be serious about it. But it really depends on both party, each one should be totally honest, being on their self and ready to accept each one's strength and weaknesses for the relationship to workout just like me and my wife now.

I used to be skeptical about this kind of situation but i have met friends who really ended up together and the love between them are for real compared to those who have met offline.
Only if people are as honest as you two then i think it's highly possible that people could find true love online. I don't pretend as well and i'm always honest with who and what i am as a person and most of my online friends love me for who i am. I am a very transparent person and i don't like pretending at all.
I'm glad you are happy and found your true love online.

I don't really believe in online dating but this may be true. I had a friend who married a guy that she met online. Before, each time she tells me about their conversation, it would really pissed me off. She would mostly brag about how sweet the guy is. I told her that I would not believe that their love is real if the guy would not visit her here in the Philippines. After two months, the guy came over, not just to visit her but also, proposed to her. I was so shocked and at the same time, happy for my friend since she has found her true love. They are happily married now. Love can really happen anytime and anywhere.

KimmySay, I have friends that this has happened to them and I would categorically say that it is true and it happens as long as you being true and real to yourself and your partner, it is a life changing experience and worth a try for those who have no partner yet, you never can tell this might just be for you too.

Yes, I do believe in that. Finding your partner over the internet is like normal nowadays, although it's a bit risky and it would seem like you don't have any proof of such relationship. However, like what you said, respect, trust and love is really crucial. This is where these values come in. Regardless of where you met, love will conquer both of you.

Yes, online affair is very much possible. I know people who have been getting along well and they just met through online dating place. People may meet each other anywhere but they can be very serious of getting to know each other online. Anyway, they can be honest even if they just chat online. After virtual relationshi, they can go deeper and decide to see each other personally. Most of the people acquainted through online end up loving each other seriously.

Yes, I believe that it's possible. In fact a niece of mine and two friends found their partners through online dating. Their video chatting developed into a serious relationship that leads to their marriage. But there are some relationships that does not turns out the way they had expected it to be.

This is very much possible as I have seen people and even have like 3 friends who now live in the United States with their found love. They are married and everything is going on well, they now share a lot of things together, responsibilities are now so high for the guys because everyone thinks their American wives who make things easier for them there but for most of them they have a great connection and devote a lot of trust to each other.
I have one other friend who have an American wife but she has this Philippino roots, she has been to my country 3 times, they are married and they work together doing what her husband does, which is help international firms get supplied Raw materials for whatever they produce, she even has an american address for their company.
It's a quest which is so possible as long as those americans can see us as being equal and trust those of us that are not into scam by letting us into their own world.
