Yes it is rightly said. I saw this unique thing in toilet of a friend, to avoid water splashes her son has inserted the cell phone in a mineral water bottle. 
I really appreciate this nice idea, so it is rightly said, ‘necessity is mother of invention’; do you agree with me?

That is really a nice idea, at the same time I wonder, if the calls comes, how easy for him to take the phone out and attend the call
. I am again curious, why this person keep the phone in toilet?

To many common people, they can think out effective way or things to make their life better. While those with power do not take these as invention.
In my eyes, my mother is a great invention. She can use the common material to make delicious dishes for us which we have never seen before. And she can turned wasted plastic into the things we can use in daily life.

The phrase necessity is the mother of invention is very true. Most of items which is avaliable in the market is avaliable to us to satisfy our needs. If tthere is no such the new items may not be developed. The commodity get more useful when those items help us to reduce our task.

i didnt quite understand your example however i agree with you when you say "necessity is the mother of invention". in my case, just to ensure my baby gets all the nutrients i have started trying new recipes and feed him. i have tried recipes with brinjal, green vegetables which i personally would not have done had god had not sent my baby to me.
