I really observed it with Odie overtime he climbs the stair he's having a hard time going down. Also if I put him on a standard height of chair he can't go down he keeps on barking at me to get some little help. I really want to teach him how to conquer his fear.
Are your dogs afraid if heights too?

When he climb on my bed and he wants to go down he will barked on me saying he wants to go down. I command him to go down and it takes a couple of minutes to decide how he will do it.

I don't think it's fear of heights as much as your dog has a different depth perception than you do. I have a mini dachshund. He can go up the stairs but he, like your dog, cannot go down the stairs. At first, I thought he was just afraid but I talked to a trainer about it. She explained to me that dogs don't see things like a set of stairs the same way we do. She said that rather than seeing each individual step, my dog is almost seeing them like a slide. She made me understand that he is hesitating because he's not seeing that he can step down one by one. I'm sure your dog will be trained to do the stairs soon enough :) Time and patience are usually the best thing. As for heights, my dog isn't afraid to jump down from the couches or chairs... but I do have to be careful that he doesn't jump from anything too high because with dachshunds it's important to watch their backs.

One thing I observed with Odie he slip because of his hair on his feet, so I decided to trim his hair and now it seems he's been practicing it all the time go back in fort to the stairs.
but still nervous.

Oh for sure that would make a difference! If they don't feel that they have a solid footing, they'll definitely hesitate. One of my sister's dogs is old now and he won't walk on the wood floor in their kitchen because he tends to slide. So, they keep small rugs on the floor so he can still walk through the kitchen to the back door when he needs to go outside.

Mine was not....in fact I got called at my second job one night because he was out on the roof of our porch barking as people went by...when the police showed up he would go back in. One of the kids had forgotten to close the window...and he was smart enough to go in when the police showed up!
