Well, i have just ordered a new tablet from china with china brand yesterday (Apple stuff also made there LOL). At first when i saw it i think that's what i want and i think it has a nice design and all that. But after a day i keep looking at it, i think it's just a piece of china low quality stuff because i saw another tablet from them with a little higher price (+$10) but it's like the real deal, better design and better screen (from the picture, if you seen it you can actually see the difference clearly). Now i would just have to wait for it to arrive and hope i won't be disappointed. Have this thing has ever happened to any one of you mylotters ?

It has happened to me like a lot of times already. I buy something out of impulse, and in the end, I get disappointed or regret that I bought it. Regardless, this kind of experience teaches me to be very critical on everything we spend with.

I agree, impulse shopping often lead to regrets. Many of the times I would just buy something which I think I'll need but it turns out that I don't really and it's useless after I bought that home. Now I must be really careful and think twice before I buy anything.

Most of the time i would only regret the second after i bought something. But it turns out nice after i receive and using it on daily basis. But i don't really know whether i really like it or i just force myself to use it since i bought it in the first place. Nevertheless, most items that i regret after buying have it's use after some time and sometimes i forget where i put it when the time comes where i really need it.

That can be the worst thing is when you are wanting a Tablet not knowing for the price, if what you are wanting to buy would be a Good one or not. I know many times for me it is usually a lot of things besides price that helps make my decision. The tablet I bought a couple of months ago I am very Happy with. Just wish everywhere I went would have WIFI.

Nowadays price is important because the high cost of living to keep us stay alive. And yeah, everyone wishes everywhere they go would have WIFI to get connected to. That's why is you are an outgoing or travels much, then you should really go for the 3G version, or maybe both is you doesn't have proper 3G subscription to get connected 24/7.

I go through this all of the time, and I have now decided that if I want to buy something, I won't buy it straight away because I like to have time to think about whether I really need to buy it or not. In the past, when I have been to the shops, I have bought too much and then realised when I got home again that I was going to have to work an extra day because of the amount that I had spent the day before. This is something that I knew I was going to have to put a stop to, and I have made an extra effort to do this over the past couple of months.

Well, i don't this i have the same problem since i always look for an item for like days or week before buying it and at the same time checking for other items with the same price range. This is because usually, i don't enough cash to directly buy it on the spot, that's why i have to check it for like min. 3 days before buying it.

Tablets are not very useful items, a laptop is much better. Buying one just to be up-to-date is very silly. Also, chinese items are very poor quality, mostly rejects from the exportable lines. Here, I have seen several "apple" fake tablets in the junk markets, obviously not working, and clearly fake as they are the wrong shape! Yet "apple" and the logo are written all over the device and the packaging. Stay clear of anything "direct from China"!

Well, i hate to say this but actually i you can take good care of it, the items from china is worth it. You just have to be smart when buying. I have bought this HD player from china and more than 2 time cheaper than branded item like WD and it's still working as smooth as it can be and still in a strong shape. As for buying to be up-to-date, i am buying this because i am a light gamer and like to play when i can't get to my PC. And the price range for china laptop even the netbook is very different than the tablet and very slow even if the price is 2x the price i'm paying for this tablet since most of it running in windows OS and the CPU at slower than the tablet i am buying which most of china netbook i've seen has 700-800mhz atom processor but the price is still more than 2x this tablet cost. I have my experience buying china stuff and all i can say is we get what it's worth but most of the time better than what we think it is if you know what you're doing. But thanks for your advice though. :)

Sometimes i also have the same experience as yours. After i bought something, which i felt i liked it,i felt regret. I wouldn't like to have them.So i often give them to others. They reason for it , i think, is that i was hurrying to buy them.so i tell myself to take my time when choosing things in order not to buy something unnecessary.

I only had these with smaller purchases. Like, I fell in love with a necklace (not even fine jewelry one), I saved my money for it, bought it, and afterwards I realised that I can't wear it with anything from my closet. I still like it and I've got some stuff to wear it with now, but then, it just seemed a waste of money.

Well, i seems to have this kind of thing on almost everything that i bought. Because i am a person who has no patience. So, when i am waiting for the item to arrive (2 week average) i would check the item i just bought and compare it with other stuff. Items like tablet i would compare with the same specs/design and around the same price range. Stuff like jewelries i would compare to another jewelry that isn't even has the same design at all and keep thinking if i buy the right one. But honestly, usually when i have this thing on jewelry, i would just buy another one since it's just some steel china ring/watch/pendant which doesn't cost much.

Yes, this is true... i have opften found myself in the situation where i would be buying something and thinking i need it at the time, but i would then regret it after knowing i have actually lost my money to a thing i might now use as often, he he

This happens to a lot of people. It is called buyer's remorse. Basically a person looks and 'dreams' about an item so much that it becomes much bigger in their mind than what it actually provides. It is often why on big price items, then is a 2 week-1 month 'return' policy with no or small penalties. You should check into this when the tablet arrives and see if you can exhange it for the other one so you don't lose out on your money.

Wow. You sure have a good knowledge about this or done a good research. And i know you're right and i'll try what can i do. But i don't actually think this would be the end because if it is what you are saying it is, then i would find another item that is a little higher price than the one i want right now and exchange it and the remorse continue. But maybe it's just happen one time ?

This must have happened to a lot of people. I sell things online once in a while and more often than I would like, buyers come backs to me saying things like, " can I return it? I don't think I want it anymore." Or "oh.. nothing is wrong with the item I just change my mind." I guess people need to do more research before buying, above all they should all bear in mind that they are the one responsible for what they buy.
