my home town of woodward, Ok

I am from woodward , Ok i do not live there anymore but out of all the places i have lived that is my favorite place. It got hit by a tornado this week. It killed 5 and injured 26. Its hard to belive half the town is just wiped out due to something we only see on tv. 4 of the fived dead were sadly chillren.

I'm sorry for their loss.
It is very sad. I wonder if anyone will rebuild as an underground home. Could they? Or would they be under the water table? Actually underground homes can be built above ground and then filled in most of the way around.
It's just a thought. I like alternative housing that may go with environmental/weather confrontations. Like the houses you see built on stilts on flood plains which wouldn't work here because we have winds that rock regular houses. That's why it is an interesting challenge to find the right archetecture for the weather conditions of certain areas.
