my first personal issue with westborro church.

Ah, WBC - actually, I have a lot of beefs with them, but the solution to get rid of them? Don't acknowledge them and they'll eventually go away. I've actually heard a very interesting theory that WBC is racking in a lot of money from suing people out the wazoo (well, at least the founder is drawing in lots of money from it). Why else would they so heavily publicize where they're going to protest, and why else would they pick such controversial things to make signs out of? It draws people out there who are against WBC (and, face it, most everyone in the country hates them - even the KKK, my goodness), and they rile people up until the people do something WBC can sue them for. And you know what, I really don't care about that part - I care about the fact that members of WBC are genuinely believing in what they're doing, parents making their kids join in with their hateful campaigns.

I believe I've heard of this church or one like it before. I believe that it is a terrible terrible church which should be dismantled / disbanded. I am not sure how they were even allowed to continue with the construction and the congregation of the church as I don't believe any churchboard / community would allow it. To say such things after such a tragic event and about children who do not know how to sin, who are yet innocent and do not know the evils of this world? This church needs to be disbanded!
