Do opposites attract? Or is it that birds of a feather flock together?

yeah i think opposites attract..... i have a hubby that loves to stay home and I myself like to go out... but we do other things together...

I just do not know if it is that we are attracted to things opposite of ourselves in others and heald together by the things we have in common. It may be that we are attracted to the things we have in common and heald together by the things that are opposite but interesting or admirable or just fun. Maybe I think too much about stuff that is not so important. Thanks for your reply.
