I get so distracted easily when it comes to working from home, does anyone else have that same problem? For me its that I can't concentrate on one thing, so therefore I never get around to finishing it. Like for instance my blogs, I have two blogs I am wanting to launch, but I get caught up with posting on here and my other sites that I am doing. So I never get around to them. Its frustrating,I try to get on a schedule, but I never stick to it.Its like my mind is going different directions. Anyone have any suggestions?

Arrange your time in schedual ,not to watch TV so much , I think you distracted because of your job earn less. Try to ask others if there are fast earning method, make friends who are doing the same thing ,maybe your home job will lead to a great career.
My home job is also distracted ,for I like watch TV, other I did not have much earn method ,if I know more effective earning method ,maybe I will focus more.
Other way I like to go on street to have a walk, sports is important.
Excuse me ,can you tell me some useful home job earn money? online ? or other things? Thank you.

Blogging is something I really want to try out...hopefully soon. I would also like to check your blog :) About being distracted, I think one good thing would be to make some written goals in each tasks you want to finish in one day, and if possible give a time frame for each of the tasks...after that make some checklists. I think information overload is one reason we get confused, so when all the tasks are clear and is written down, everything becomes a lot easier.

Personally it can become so easy to get distracted when it comes to working from home. To the point where you can forget about what you are trying to accomplish and next thing you know you feel like a failure because nothing got done. Sometimes I have to make myself a note of what I need to do, and go from there. It often helps me to make sure I put the time and effort I need in to get something done.

I do that also, I constantly make myself little notes but like you said half the time I don't get around to doing it :) I know what I want to do just seems like I can't motivate myself to do it lol

Yes I do find it easy to become sidetracked. I work from home doing quality control over the phone. It gets pretty repetitive, and I find myself not meaning to but looking for other things to do. Facebook gets entirely too much of my time these days!

I used to be an Facebook junkie and spend hours on it. Now I check it maybe twice a day, so I have weaned myself off of that :) That is how I am, I get bored easily and move onto find something else to do.

Hi,
All of us thinks working from home will help us save travel time and that time can be better used to finish more work but it actually does not work out that way especially for creative pursuits.
It works fine for Doctors, tailors, or private coaching, who have clients waiting but for creative pursuits like writing and painting, it has a detrimental effect. It is largely because these are not time bound projects and we do not keep a deadline for it so it lingers away and some more attention grabbing schedule comes up and we dither away from our assigned work schedule.
If you steadfastly maintain a strict regime and allow yourself 2 hours in the day for this and another 2 hours for that and strictly follow it up to the tee then you might be able to pull it off, but again like I said earlier a creative pursuit will not be so easy as it requires a fair amount of concentration, mood, ideas, inclination and determination.
However it is possible as I am doing it successfully for sometime now as I have options lined up always in case of a mind block when writing.
Try it and you will not lose out, God bless.

I am lucky in that aspect when I am working my husband pretty much leaves me along and plays his game. My daughter stays in her room, so she isn't much of a distractions. The distraction isn't neccessarily from my husband and kids its from jumping from one thing to another.
