It has been years since my last visit here in mylot...what's new?

In my experience, the earnings rate is about the same as it was two or three years ago. Why should it change? MyLot is a good and reliable site with a very robust business model. What you earn is, and always has been, dependent on the quality of your participation. People who complain that the earnings are unsatisfactory are generally always those who post very little of value and do not reply to responses in their own discussions. Reading, understanding and following the Guidelines in a positive way and understanding what a discussion really means are key to a fulfilling and enjoyable experience here. MyLot is NOT a site which will make you rich, however, quite a few people make more than the minimum payment of $10 every month and many more have benefited from things they have learnt from discussions. I seem to recall that the only things that may have changed significantly in the last three years are (1) that we enjoy better moderation than we did and (2) we can now earn Rewards by using the Search facility (see the FAQs under "Rewards" for how this works). Personally, I earn over a dollar a month just from using the Search facility.

I had been in and out of mylot since it started years ago and I think nothing much had changed except that it is still fun earning extra income while making friends here.
