Hi Friends, I am confused a lot. When I receive my payout of $1 from ptcbox, paypal deducted 34 cents and I received only 66 cents. I visited paypal website and got clarified that there is a fee of 3.9% + $0.30 USD for cross border transaction. There is no domestic transaction allowed to Indians as per RBI rule. I was worrying about the loss occurred in my earnings. Today I received payment of $3.45 from donkeymails. To my surprise, there is no fee deduction. I received full amount to my paypal account. Is this not cross border transaction? How do i know about the transaction fees before requesting payout? Thanks in advance.

How about your experience during payout? Did you notice any fee reduction from paypal?

I'm sure the fees have to be in the Terms of Service SOMEWHERE, you just have to read. That really stinks about it taking that much out. That hardly even makes it worth your time!

This is normal. It is because some sites just pay their members directly and some sites are using the mass pay option to pay their members which is cheaper but the sender would have to cover the fees for mass pay but a lot lower than the fees an individual have to cover. Just send a support ticket to the site admin suggesting he use the mass pay option and charge a little fees for members. Most sites that use the mass pay option charge about 1% - 2% or simply 1-2 cents for each transaction.
