how to play guitar???

hew anybody out there who can help me to learn playing the guitar????

Just mess around with it and you'll learn alot of things. I learned to play myself about 6 years ago. You can also buy guitar books or you could look up a song you want to learn on www.ultimate-guitar.com and it shows you what frets to push. You'll figure it out eventually if you are serious about learning.

just fiddle with it man !! i learned in a month's time...it takes just that much time for getting the basics and getting the fundas settled,and from then on its just a matter of practice !

learn a few chords and practice them and practice strumming with a pick everyday for 6 months....if you can do that, then you're ready to start learning. you have to get the feel of the guitar first and thats the hardest part..the first 6 months

I agree with the person Above... www.ultimate-guitar.com VERY VERY useful Site...Also make sure u have a software called "Guitar PRo" installed in ur PC... Its very useful..it can teach u all the stuff for songs...About techniques or theory a good Book oughta help u !!
