Dont say I should have searched, cause i did also have you looked at your interests lately? i must say that was an experience that cheered me up. some of the pics are hilarious. Now about what I put in the topic. It seems Winster is shutting down as of 31st. of May. I never liked playing there much anyway, having been working on and off to get a restuarant gift card. but it requires so many points ive been working on it now and then for a year. now there is no way i will get that and what time i did spend there is wasted. sucks huh? dont you think they would have done better if theyd had better more fun games, plus not so many points to get what you want? makes me so mad because now ive played what i didnt really enjoy for nothing.

Oh really, I have been member for long time till I quit two years ago and actually when we get good team we can cashing $25 every month as paying member (pay $4.99/month). Too bad my paper work took most of my time and could not even login anymore. Last time I login I have 4000 spin and my best friend now the one who uses my account.

I had only signed up for winster through a GPT site to get credited a dollar or so. I used it maybe once or twice. And was not a big fan. I didn't see how i could make any decent kind of money there. And i wasn't impressed with the games. With that said. I'm sure some people have enjoyed what the site provided. And it is a shame that it is closing down. I agree with you that it was a waste of time. But you live and you learn. Maybe you can take something positive from the experience. Why not try some legit GPT sites. You may find that the gaming section of those are much better. And you wont have to worry about the site closing down. If you join the right one. Good luck to you :)

ive never seen a gpt site with any good games either. i tried mypoints games, only to find out the points only count at world winner their game site, plus they keep saying invest to get points. that seems rather like paying for your money if you ask me

I think they are really innovative, although they claim to close down next month. I really feel sorry about the sad news.Winster is a good place to make friends and i like play jp with them. I also think their game in not various enough.Slot social is the best game but others are not attractive at all.

yes the slots one is the only one remotely interesting to play. i really think my pogo games spoiled me. ive had fun and enjoyment at pogo from day one. they have so many good games. winster should have expanded their games as not to be so boring.

I also know Pogo.com which accept the registration from any country. But only the residents in U.S and Canada are qualified to win prizes, that make me lack some motive to try their games, which can be found on other sites.

You know, lots of these sites run out of steam. But not all. Sites like MyLot will be around a long time. Those survey sites and game sites, well, I never had any interest in them anyway. And also the economy effects even them. But there are many sites out there.

yes this is definately the best site when you avoid certain people but you can do that on others also. i love pogo games and i think that spoiled me. even though i make no money on there only tokens and badges. shows how much i care for having fun instead of the money, huh?

It is relaxing to be here also. And that social site I belong to. They both see to be very friendly and relaxing to me. I actually have a good time on both. But I do get to what I call my daily sites. I figure if I keep up with them, I will get paid faster and I do. Enjoy the awesomeness on MyLot.

Yes it is a waste of time. You lost a year at Winster? It didn't take just a couple of times to realize I'd never get anywhere with them.

I thought Winster was fun, but it took too long to win anything. I never won anything at all other than more points. I was wasting my time that I could be earning somewhere else.

The concept is good, but Winster really got greedy. They kept increasing the points needed to earn a prize.
My birthday was Easter Sunday. We went to New Orleans for a week to celebrate. When I got back, I saw that someone on the site had purchased me a day pass for my birthday. When I logged in, it was not there. I emailed and they said it had expired--as it is only good for one day. They would not refund the person who bought it for me. Who stays home on their birthday to play computer games? It is only $1, but it is greedy. It should have been available when I logged in.
Their facebook page is censored now. There is no real discussion, because they don't post it if someone is dissatisfied with any aspect of the game. They make their facebook page like a cheerleading squad instead of a community.
Their games were not very innovative. They take advantage of their members. I believe Winster got what it deserved.

It is sad to see them go. I used to play a lot. That is until it seemed like the site was always dragging. I liked going into the private rooms with some of the players and being able to chat a bit. I have popped in now and then, but haven't had much time lately.

I did not stick around there long. I always had trouble with it on my computer. I have found very few places that earn fast enough to make me happy. I like MyLot, payouts are reasonable, and Swagbucks, Sidetick and a few others.

hi bunnybon Winster I am not familiar with but I know for years I have done surveys for mysurvey.com and after 1000 points you could
trade them in for a t en dollar check and i was lucking out each month for ten dollars to add t o my mylot earning, Now they have made it 1100 for a ten dollar check and for awhile I was not even qualifying and before I always did but now they have made some changes again so maybe it will again be a great place to make extra money.the surveys were really great as you got to give your input on new products not even on the shelves yet even to giving your ideas on prices.and they had a lot of surveys where you got say 200 or 300 points for now its much less b ut I have not given up
yet on them.i know what you mean about some places make the point count so high it takes forever to accomplish anything and if the games were no longer fun that would indeed be the pits.

sounds like you found a good spot. my problem is that i get so into really good games that others are no fun also, ive signed up for so many places, they really need to be interesting for me to remember them. i do surveys for only one place i like now. pinecone research. its the best i think. but they only want young people so i use my daughters account. sorry know thats a bit cheating but we are in the same house Deb has told me about beezag and its easy but most days it slips my mind to go do it.

I really liked winster. It was fun and enjoyable and also a great way to meet some different people to talk with. The only problem I ever had with them is I didn't play for a while and I had a bunch of points and I lost them all just because i was inactive for a period of time. It really sucked going back to it and losing so many things. No wonder it's shutting down. People prob. got frustrated with it and said the hell with it. So now it's costing them money. Oh wells it's part of life.
