my job is still going well, i still like it alot, hope to get my first check friday
had a rough day today, but got thru it ok.. hopefully things will continue too look better and better for me, God knows im trying, i just have to take the good with the bad and make best of it.. and pray for better days ahead..
what do you do when a bad day gets you down? reminds me of the SERENITY PRAYER
It goes like this:
God , grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things i can , and the wisdom to know the
difference..
i just have to remember this to will pass, and God will send brighter days ahead
in the past i would just give up and let things like this get me down. but ive come too far .. and seeing my hubby's smiling face reminds me im doing something right,
for the next month i will need your prayers to help me get thur what im going thru
i will share at a later date all the info.. bi polar past stikes again, thank God im on a good medication and hope to one day be able to put the past behind me and start over and be the best person i can be..

For me when Im going thru a bad day I usually start trying very hard to make it go away, which only makes it worse... Then if I can remember this little insight, to welcome these feelings and actually embrace them and let them grow I become stronger as long as I dont give in... Just like you remembering feelings are inevetable sometimes good sometimes bad but everything passes given enough time... Sometimes these feelings are a message that something needs to change and sometimes its just a matter of finding something to be grateful for... Acceptance is the key... Have a great day...

im still dealing with some things i did in my past when i needed a medication change and now that im on a good medication and leveled out where i need to be and trying hard to get my life back together and doing a job and doing my best
i had court yesterday, for past behavior like i said above.. and they delayed it until may.. so now i am not going to let it get me down, im giving it to god and asking him to see im a new person, and let things form my past turn out ok and let me learn to never do anythig like that again.. and be a loving and kind person to everyone...i know ive changed and im proud and love the person im becomming..
if you pray, say a prayer for me.. and the last of my past, court in may..
im praying it gets dismissed.. thanks again

Hi laken... No im not in a relationship right now... I've had two divorces and recently broke up with my bestfriend/fiance'... So I had to finally realize the common denominator in all these failed relationships is probably me... Lol... So for now all Im doing is going to school trying to work and especially trying to build "The Next Big Thing" on the net... Lol... "Pipe Dreams" what would we do without them...

Yes, better days ahead. And the Serenity Prayer. If you get off track you just have to try alittle harder. Maybe starting a project of some kind would be a good way of tracking some time. A loved ones smiling face is always a plus. I have a daughter and granddaughter who are bi-polar and I have severe depression. I know how hard it is to find the right medication. It usually takes about two weeks to see a change. And, if you have a good psychiatrist he/she will know if you need to have more of the same medication or move on to something else. Finding the right one and one that will help you is key.

Well, since I live in difficult times each day can be a struggle to get through. Sometimes I have enough work to keep me real busy, but other times I have just enough to keep me down and in the blues! lol... I try to just keep working.. I heard a saying one time - tears will bring you sympathy but sweat will bring you success. So I started working harder to succeed.. can't say as it works all the time - but hey - I get more done that way!

i have never heard that saying, i love it lol.. and its true as well, lately for the first time in my life i am trying my best, and working harder then i ever have,
when my mom moved in with my sister in china, i was hurt becasue we were not getting along, and now it is a blessing becasue my daughter can no longer take money off her and me get in the middle and get cussed every day by my daughter
so im ok with that now and accept it was a good move and i have learned to now depend on myself more and am doing really well and proud of myself..

I'm glad you are on a good medication. I hope your husband is supportive of you in all phases of your illness. Bipolar disorder is a brain disorder. Your hubby married you with this disorder. So I hope that he understands you and does not cut you down when you are depressed or manic.

thanks hun, my hubby deals with it in his own way, he has been pretty good thur it all.. i am lucky to have someone like him as anyone else would have walked away like my first husband did, my youngest daughters dad.. im just hoping with all the new changes im making and doing so much better that i can stay on this level and not get the lows or the highs or at least now know how to prevent any more bad things from happening.. i feel this time is different and i have never tryed harder
so mom leaving has helped me in a way i cant describe i love and miss her, but now i feel i can live my life for me.. and i feel i can do things on my own, and i
now dont have to deal with all the drama of my oldest daughter taking money from my mom and worry about mom's finances and hey i dont get cussed anymore, (my daughter) every day.. when i tryed to stop her from taking my moms money that she gave her anyways.. so that stress is gone.. and me and hubby can get along now,
i just pray for my daughters saftey now that all i can do, i cant make her work so i dont worry anymore.. she has to want to change i dont condone her bad behavior around us anymore..

Hello Laken02
Im glad that you still enjoy your job and have a day off today, how do you spend your day off? It is nice to have a break from work so you can have a rest. Well, last year was a bad year for me and I had a big fight with almost everyone but then things has changed alot this year, I try to be a grateful person, learn acceptance, and I believe everything happens for a reason, I do believe the sun will shine brightly after a heavy rain. I want to share you something, on january I was ill and I missed the exam so I have to repeat it again next semester, then my laptop & cellphone is broken, but I believe that someday I will have a better luck. Im focusing myself to make something new in my life, I learn craft, I learn how to cook and do a lot of positive things in my life, I also promised my brother that my mylot earning is for him if he gets a good result in the national exam. I know I could use my mylot earning to fix my cellphone but I believe my brother needs a motivation so he can get a good exam result, so I motivate him if he study hard (he got 9.2 in math but he only got 6.0 in English, so I tell him to improve his English) someday when he is 16 years old he can join me here on mylot. And you know what, last night he told me that he got 7.6 in English. I feel so happy for my brother. And I will give him my earning as I promised next month.
Today I got a good news that I won 3rd place in a contest, and I deserve free voucher I can use to shop in a mall. Im so excited and I cant stop thanks to God for the gift. I mean, I did not expecting that I would win but suddenly I got the good news. God really works in His own way and all we need to do is to believe His Power and works in positive way. Im sending my prayer for you, I hope you will have a great month and whatever going to happen is just another way to find happiness. By the way can I ask you a favor? Could you please pray for my brother that he will get at least 35.0 total scores in the national exam.

Thanks for the pray for my brother, Im so happy to have friend like you, you have a high spirit to change your life and believe in God's way. I never been to court before but I know I would be nervous if I was there, so I pray God to give you strength to face whatever it is. May God bless your dad's soul, from your story it seems that he was a great person and Im sure you are as great as your dad. I remember your story about your dad and his mom, and I take it as a lesson for me to learn. Your mother is a good example about the power of love, with her loves to her brother it made her brother to change his life, stopped drinking and be a good person.
Maybe your husband doesnt tell you that he loves you by words but deep inside he loves you, I heard that many guys doesnt show their love through words but they do it by action. I mean, you said he smilling alot now so i guess he really loves you but he just dont like to show it with words?
Whenever you feeling down always remember that you have mylot family who always stay by your side to support you. Take care friend & be happy because God always has plan for us.
