I just read Nicki Minaj left Twitter due to some of her songs being leaked....

Did you hear about this? I just read that Nicki Minaj has left Twitter and the 11 million fans she has behind because a website allegedly leaked some of her songs from her new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, online.
Now, it seems her fans are mad that she left Twitter...

What do you think? I really don't know what to think. I mean it is her choice if she wants to stay on Twitter or not. I guess I can see her point, I mean she makes her living selling her albums and going on tour, etc. so it is not very helpful if her music is made available without her consent and without any monetary compensation coming back to her.

yes, i have read it too. her fans are so strange. so is she. lol i do not know what to think. her fans are interested in her career so they want news and so on. but she must have tweeted her song before them. why did not she? why has it happened to her? because othere celebrties produce and tweet or write their song themselves... i think it is her fault.
and to leave twitter was such a stupid thing.

Well, it just might be a publicity stunt on her part, you never know. I don't belong to Twitter myself, I never saw much point to it. A lot of celebrities though seem to love Twitter and use it as a way to connect to their fans.

I've never heard of Nicki Minaj. What songs does she sing? I never use Twitter either. That's sad that she left behind all those fans too.

I just heard this news here through your post. I understand her sentiment though. It's her property, of course, and the said website should have asked her consent or waited for her go signal and publish her songs. That's her living anyway. It's very unfair on her part.
