Jamie Moyer - would you look at that!

Jamie Moyer won his 268th career game and is now on the record books as the oldest pitcher to post a win in the majors. Seeing him pitch for the longest period of time, it is an awesome recognition for someone who hung in there despite a 2011 which saw him miss the whole season as he tried to recover from an injury.

I'm very surprised that he was able to win a game this late in his career. Good for Jamie!

I'll never forget when he was pitching for the World Series Champion Phillies back in 2008. He was on the mound, sicker than a dog with the flu and still managed to win the game. He was in his mid 40's then. The oldest pitcher to win a game is quite an accomplishment. Great for him.
