it is not a wet summer after all. It is a very very hot summer. During the day I have headaches and also I have to be positioned in front of my electric fan because of the intense heat. I hate to go out of the house, and when I do I feel that the sun's heat is biting my skin. I wish I can buy an aircon so that I can blast it the whole day. It is nice to go into malls because it is called there but I dont want to waste money because I might see things I would like to buy. Are you feeling the same way mylotters? How is your summer so far?

good for you shylade that you are working in an airconditioned room. i always envy the medical technologists in our hospital, they get to work in aircon rooms and they dont go out so much and so they always smile and are not stressed from their work unlike us nurses.

Well, i am thinking that this summer will be very hot because it is so hot already in the beginning of it. For sure, it will be very hard for kids surviving the hot weather, so that you should buy an air-con soon. In your place, there is rainy in May, but in here, may not, it will be hotter...

It is the same in here, even though it is the beginning time of summer. i like light sunny but i really hate summer, it is too hot and there is no air-con in my room. I dont like to be tan too. But i can't avoid it. Summer is back then i have to face to the hot weather again...:(

hi there ryanong. same as you I dont want to be tan too. i have worked hard ffor my skin to be lighter and i am not sacrificing it for the weather. i might as well face my electric fan everyday rather than go to the beach!

Hello Katrinapaz, it is also hot in here but unfortunatelly i cannot sit near fan because it is going to make me flu, I prefer open my door or windows widely so i can get fresh air, it is really hard to have sensitive body like me because I need to avoid electric fans wherever I go and not every store has air conditioner. I prefer using air conditioner but it is too expensive to afford air conditioner in each room. I would love to spend my day in beach and bathing in the sea all day long lol. If I may add talking about summer and the relation with mylot, I dont know why but I think Im more productive during the rainy day instead of hot day lol maybe because in hot day I just want to go somewhere where I can cooling myself, but in rainy day I can stay at home all day long. have a nice summer katrinapaz.

hello fashionfever. i am sad that you are not able to go infront of the electric fan because you will have flu. yes it is much nicer to open the windows and the door but also make sure that there are not a lot of dusts that will go inside your house because it will also be a reason to have your flu. happy mylotting

Indeed, it is so hot these days. I am not a fan of summer season but we have to go through it anyway. I can relate with you about going to the mall. I would have love to enjoy the free air condition there but I will probably end up buying things I don't really need. My threshold for resisting enticing stuff is very low. And since I am trying to save some money, I may have to content myself with just staying at home. Summer has been good to me except for the intense heat I'd rather not suffer if I have a choice.

it is amazing we feel the same way about summer and malls. i think the malls make sure they have a lot of things to sell because they know that most people will go to their place. i love to stay at home too and spend time with mylot, in that way, i wont be enticed to go out. just content with mylot and my electric fan

you are correct! even if you are still inside the house it seems that you already have a bucket of sweat. i even sweat right after I take a bath!

I don't know where you live, but here in Michigan, it's not summer yet. About a month ago we had weather that made it feel like summer - temps in the mid to upper 70s and a few times we hit 80. But now, it feels like early spring and at nights it feels like winter. I can't wait till summer comes.

hello marty! i live here in the Philippines and its already scorching hot. everyday i get a lot of sweats and if I will go outdoors it seems that my head will break because of the heat of the sun. it is nice to go to the beach but then kind of expensive too.

I know how you feel. It's hot in here as well, I'm just glad that we're surrounded with trees around the house, which makes the humidity tolerable. But still, I avoid going out, it's good that I got summer off therefore there's no real need to go out in the first place. But when I do, oh my! It's too hot and no amount of sunscreen or stuff could help with the heat of the sun.
Whenever I go out, I do go to malls after or during noon so that the heat could be avoided, it's really cold in our malls and I think it really helps a lot. But still I would rather go home because I want to dress down to the bare minimum and just hide from the sun.
Air conditioners do work but I fear the rising of the bills. Therefore, we usually cool ourselves by drinking water with lots of ice and rubbing ice all over.
I'm just glad that it rains at night. Else I'd be tossing and turning to sleep well. I'm also glad because there are no power interruptions in my area. Unlike a lot of cities in our country, we are fortunate enough to not have those inconveniences.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

hello there laydee. you are fortunate that you have been surrounded by trees in your house. we only have 1 tree here and is not quite big. i also dont like to go out for nothing. it is really best to stay in the house. if I do go out, i usually do early in the morning or late afternoon.

Hi, I have discovered last Monday and Tuesday was really hot. It is officially summer! Last March, it was not really that hot. I observed the temperature varies from day to day, there are really hot days this summer so we need to be extra careful. Have ready cold water, bath at least 2 times a day, turn that electric fan and aircon unit and other things to do so we won't be consumed by too much heat. For the last two days we get rid the cushions or beds and just prefer to sleep directly on the floors and it greatly help us to sleep and stay cool during the night.

hello there avery girl. you are correct in your observations. may we never ffail to take a bath everyday. this helps cleanse and cool our skin. sometimes i prefer the electric fan because the aircon is much expensive. during the night, i put on little clothing so that I can sleep well and also make sure that the doors are locked.

hello katrinapaz.:-) It's really hot in Manila. Yesterday when I came down from Tagaytay, i almost fainted because of the summer heat. The house where I stayed has to put on their aircondition unit just to prevent me from fainting. I wa watching the a movie in the tv rom when suddenly I felt dizzy upon lying down on the sofa. My friend has to switch on the aircondition unit right away because she thought that I might loss consciouness.
You are right. It is better to go to the malls because it is cool there. So when I felt better, we decided to go and watch Hunger Games at Robinsons Galleria. :-) O we enjoyed the movie and we felt comfortable.:-)
The heat is really scorching. It i not even better to go to the beach because for sure you will get burned. :-D
