Have you ever had questions about who God is ? What He does ? Does He really exist ? Brush his teeth in the morning ? Have cool hairstyles ? (you get the idea)
OMG is just a discussion on discovering God of the bible.(basically in a christian point of view.)

part1: The most important quest
How many of you have had gone for a quests for something that you were looking for? For explorers in the ancients days, it was the fountain of youth, for Lady Gaga, it's the next weird fashion she can pull off and for some of us, it could be the perfect spouse or the best food in town. But in your material pursuit for many things in life, there is ONE quest that you MUST be on as well. That quest is existential in nature and it is a quest to know God and get answers to the most important questions about life. This quest is significant because it gives us our purpose for living, knowing that eternity is at stake and becomes the truth to which we live by.
Knowing God is is an exciting and worthwhile journey, but everyone needs to begin with the first step! The bible says in Hebrews 11:6 "and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exist and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him".
We can discover more about the God of the bible through research that has biblical backing and by relating and experiencing him in your life!
Acts 17:27 "to seek the Lord, if perhaps they might feel after Him and find Him, though indeed He is not far from us"

hi, nice to see your article.
well i believe that God do exists, i remember , when i was a child i used to pray a lot. Go to church and sunday school without missing. I used to feel something great and happy by doing all these things.
Hmm but as i grew up, i slowly went away from all these things. dont know what the exact reason was. But it happened so. Reading bible also became very less.
Now i hardly read bible, but its not that , i dont believe in God, I beleive in him.

Just want to say that you are not alone. Most of the believers, even I do go through the ups and down. But one thing i want to clarify is that the enemy is real. He would do anything to pull you away from God. Things such as distraction, busyness, laziness, depression; these things are all real. These are the common reasons of why people don't go to church/commit to church. I'm not implying that working hard everyday or spending additional time with friends and family is wrong but i believe that there should be a balance in life. Well, i'm not sure whether are you too busy or facing too many distraction, i'm just sure you would know your life better and what you can do know is to pray in Jesus name to break the things that are holding you down. Hope your encouraged :) do ask more question.

hi, yes your are right. But , the problem is, we cant ignore the fact , which is happening in front of us. so we get irritated many times . But still we continue to pray. I dont understand why God dont answer our prayers , quickly.

Well, I'm not entirely sure why God does not answer prayers quickly but I guess God has his own timing on answering. The bible also said that He does things in mysterious ways. Perhaps not showing up in front you immediately or hear a deep manly voice saying "hey, I'm God" but he does answer in some ways that are least expected. I guess the problem nowadays it's not just God but also us. We might not get answer from prayers because we are not sensitive enough to grasp that answer. Even if God wants to speak to you directly, you have to have a good relationship with Him. It does not work like that if your heart is distanced far from God. Good question anyway. :)

I've been thinking a lot about God lately. I am praying more often now especially for my dad who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I am praying for myself and my husband too since we're struggling with finances and so on. I don't sleep well these days and I listen to some religious music the other night just to feel closer to God, I guess and I will try and be a better person and please him in future. God helps those who help themselves I'm told. I will start reading my bible more too because I need to be reminded of his great works. The world is so full of hateful people that it's hard to imagine that very many people will get to heaven anymore. God is with me always although sometimes it feel like he is not especially in stressful times in my life.

Thx for sharing. It must be tough juggling so many issues in life but continue to pray for strength, endurance, peace and greater faith. I believe God long for a deeper relationship with you and that He would want to bless you. You've got to trust God in his supernatural power and his providence. He is also a God who loves to give, but he will give only if you ask him persistently. Hope you're encouraged :)
