Yes, actually. Not very often. The most vivid dreams I've had have been lucid dreams (though not all my lucid dreams have been vivid if you know what I mean), and I recall them pretty well. They both involve the sea, surprisingly enough. I had one where I was walking along the deck of a cruise ship and all my senses were engaged. I could feel and hear the wind rushing by my ears and rustling my clothes. I could taste the salt in the air, and smell the wet wood of the ship. The second dream was very similar in feel, except I was walking along a beach and I could feel the sand between my toes.
When I woke up, reality felt less real.

I've had similar dreams where I am by the sea! And they've all involved mighty waves that dont seem to daunt me in the least! waking up was more scary than facing the waves!

That's interesting. I don't remember ever having a dream with big huge waves in the sea, though I think it's pretty weird that the two most vivid dreams I can remember both involve the sea somehow. May I ask, how was waking up more scary than facing the waves? Was it just that the dream was awesome and life wasn't at that point?

somehow, it felt safe being there amongst the waves, knowing there was no harm coming out of it. i guess at the subconscious level everyone realises its a big bad world out here!
