I had the day off and I don't feel like I did....nor do I think I got too much accomplished! I started out the day by replacing some of the tiles in my kitchen floor...it took way longer then I expected. I had to heat and scrape off the old tiles then lay the new ones.....then I skyped with my two daughters...met a friend for lunch and then had to go to the bank..post office...get my hair cut.....home depot for some supplies....and now I just got home. The day is almost over and here I sit mylotting when I haven't even started laundry! LOL....do you ever have time off and feel like you didn't get alot done but still are tired?

I agree with other responders here. You did a LOT! If I got all that done in one day I would be thrilled! Lol.
My kids are a work out though so its hard for me to get all that done. I usually make a list and if I get half of it accomplished I get excited. =) With 3 kids, my husband and a dog, so 5 kids in total, Lol its a wonder I get anything done around here...
I think you should be happy with all you have done. =)
I have felt exhausted before with only getting half my stuff done and it drives me nutty. I try to convince my body to keep going where my mind tells it to. It doesnt usually work though...lol.

Sounds to me like you got plenty done yesterday. I also understand how you were tired last night from being so busy. You did accomplish alot. What, no time to do crafts? lol Enjoy your day today at work. What I do often is wash a load of clothes and dry them the next day.

I know that feeling. I think it comes from being overwhelmed, because you want to cram as much as you possibly can into such a little teeny tiny space of time. You see things that need doing, you have a list either on paper or in your head, and then reality strikes as you're doing. Who has time for all this stuff? You do your best, but because there's so much to do, and so little time, you feel overwhelmed, and that makes you feel even less tired. That's how I see it.

Sounds to me like you did a lot. Perhaps not everything you set out to do, or what was on your list, but that's still a lot.
I had yesterday off, and I really didn't do much! I did a few dishes and some laundry.. but I also watched a movie and spent about 5 hours playing this addictive computer game.

I feel the same especially on the weekends. The time seems less than even the ordinary day.So i have to make a full plan to get everything prepared and done. Therefore, the work for my next day wouldn't be so rush.lol, however, everybody would becomes lazy when comes to these two days off.

OMG girl! So just exactly WHAT do you call "productive"? Make a list of everything you've done today! Show it to anyone and they will feel like I do now! After reading what you did, I'm exhausted!
You got a lot done. Light some candles, take a long soaker. Schedule a "mani-pedi" for Saturday. Remember YOU! If you don't take care of you first you can't help anyone else!

I think when you have time off you find yourself doing more than if you had a day to work! Often as we get older, a day off means 'errand' day. The day to go shopping, DIY home projects, misc. store runs...etc. Just make sure that the next time you take a day off, take it off! Just lounge and watch t.v. or mylot....by the afternoon...you will be bored...and errand running will start again. ;)

I think our bodies need more than a day off. Sometimes even two isn't enough. We work and work and work and then finally get a day off and it takes our bodies that entire day to just relax and get used to the idea. Then if we are lucky and have a second day off, we can at least try to enjoy that day. Although I always get the dreaded "have to go back to work tomorrow" feeling which inevitably ruins the better part of the afternoon and evening.
What is the country where everyone stops working at certain times of day and goes home to nap and relax? I saw it on Oprah once. All the stores and shops close and everyone just goes home. They come back later and reopen, but for a few hours in the middle of the day it's quiet. Maybe we all need to implement that life style! lol I wonder how that works in their health care field. Doctors and nurses can't be allowed to just head home for a nap!

sorry for that jill^^ i think that happens to everyone. mostly to those that have kids^^ i dont have kids but sometimes i also feel like i didnt do nothing that i wanted. besides days off pass faster than working days^^ cause we are not as worried as when we have to work^^ wish you have a better day off next time^^ it would be good that we could have more days to rest. most part of our life we spend working and thats sad.
