Now a days I really find hard to do a topic for discussion..

hi, actually i only create topic if only happen to me,because thats the only time that i could have an idea if that things happen to me of happen to my friends,if i dont have idea to create a topic i will go to response mode only,but if i have i will create it as soon as possible or write it down to my notes to avoid forgetting of the topic.

hi there, i rarely make a discussion but i do feel what you feel too sometimes. i actually just got back here and be active again because i have been bored here lately, like i wasn't in the mood responding and i just didn't know where and how to start. but i take a break when i feel like that, and then i just come back when i am ready, i hardly force myself to be here.

Your earning here depend on the quality of your participation, whether it is starting discussions and commenting on the responses you get or responding and commenting in other people's discussions. It makes no difference whether you start discussions or not. Some people never or rarely start discussions but concentrate on making excellent quality responses to other people's topics. It is important to remember that you ONLY earn for what you type! If you start a discussion, you have a responsibility (to yourself and others) to continue it by replying to your responders with good quality, relevant, original comments which add value to the discussion. If you respond to other people's discussions, you don't have that responsibility as much and you may find the variety of topics stimulating.

I feel you airasheila. It's a bit difficult for me to post a certain discussion that might contribute to the MyLot community. I'm running out of ideas. And I fear for my income rate. lol I also understand your situations where you have a certain goal that you wish to reach. But hang in there! You may be able to push through this. Instead of creating discussions, what I do is just post comments and responses--as many as I possibly can. Though creating a good discussion is needed too, I think it would be best to stick with posting responses and comments for now--until you have a very good idea what topic you'll be discussing about.

it will come to you in time, just keep being active in mylot and you will be fine i get lots of ideas when im away from the computer and if its good i will write it down and then post it later.. i also find if im not into doing mylot at the time i will take a short break go outside or for a walk and it all gets better.. when i come back im full of ideas ..

Well, as what others have told you, here, you get paid for your total activity on mylot and starting a new topic is just the same as replying a discussion. The only thing you need to have is the quality of your post. Just to remind you, i don't know if you already knew about this because there already a discussion about you do not get paid for others post in a discussion you started, because you seems kinda worried about it. And yes, doing both starting and replying discussion can really help us earning more here on mylot since if we can't reply anything because the discussion doesn't interest us, we can always open a new discussion.

True even i find it very difficult to post a discussion. After a long time i wanted to post a discussion on birthday celebrations and incidentally it happended to be my grand daughter's birthday and i wrote My grandaughter turns four today and mylot deleted the discusion saying that it was indicating a milestone. Now i have to think twice before posting a discussion so as not to violate the rules of mylot. I feel it is better to respond to the posts rather than starting a new discussion. Happy mylotting.

Ah!That happens with most of them,atleast i could say me.You-if you see my profile-you could find that i have started only three discussions-yet i have responded to some 50 odd discussions-myLot pays you for whatever you write-responses,commnts or discussions be it watever the case. You write,you get paid" is going to be the case here.You don't have to worry after all for not starting discussions.Maybe this might be a little less-you could not enjoy having long chains of comments on all the responses that you got for your discussion but it can as well be compensated if you do that in others' discussions as well.Mylot doesn't see whose discussion you are writing in,but only what and how you're presenting it.And that's going to be the part. Oh! Soo stop worrying there are lots who can't start discussions-maybe discussion-though i could see many a kind of questions here (thats going to be a different case)..Maybe you should be happy with 4-5 discussions a month.Active participation in it(i need not have to say you-you already knew it) could fetch you the very same amount of eaarnings every day. So stop worrying,start discussing.. Enjoy the days here and you'll be high in no time :)
