This may already be a common practice in other more developed countries, but in ours, its new to me.
I just noticed that the malls are already strictly implementing the exclusive use of the reserved cubicle in restrooms for pregnant women, senior citizens, and women with kids. Its really convenient for pregnant women like myself. The queues in restroom malls can get really bad on peak hours, and its hard for pregnant women to hold on that long. So, im so happy that they're already implementing this, strictly, and Im no longer worried to go malling, anytime. I hope this gets observed and followed by all establishments in the country, especially at offices with large workforce.
Just to add, I hope there will be more establishments putting up breastfeeding stations, too.

yeah there are times when the queues are so long and even us not pregnant are always having a hard time controlling our bladder and yeah i feel bad to those pregnant women like you because i know you usually have urinary frequency especially during the 1st and 3rd trimester.
yeah i hope so too, some girls are just taking a long time peeing hehehe i don't know what else they are doing inside but when i pee, i pee, wipe and then go, wash and leave. some are taking so long to pee.

Same here, i only take less than 2 minutes in the cubicle. With the awful smell and garbage around, I wouldn't want to stay too long inside, anyway. Im really wondering what others would be doing inside.

That's good news, I am too having a hard time to hold on while on queue but it's more important for pregnant and oldies. I haven't seen in in mall in Alabang or maybe I just don't go to the mall restroom if not extremely important. Although it's hard to implement by other mall or establishment owners, I still hope that there will be a good rest room system.

To avoid having to hold on too long due to long lines, go to the restroom about 30-45 minutes after you've drank a glass of liquid. Don't go when you're so ready to leak, especially if you know there's a lot of people in the area.
Its different when you're pregnant, because our bladder is not strong enough to hold too much fluid, thats why we go to restrooms more frequently. And, when its time to pee, it really feels like our bladders going to burst.

I agree with you jureathome. It is most convenient on the part of the pregnant women to have their own restroom designed for them. It is very tiresome for them to stand longer on the queue while waiting for their turn to use the toilet. And it would be safe always for them to have such for surely it will be equipped with materials that would provide comfort and safety.

With all the pains and discomfort pregnant women are going through, its a big bonus to have facilities such as these.
Just to add to the experience I shared, the janitors were really briefed well about the use of these special cubicles, which made me even happier. In one of the restrooms in a big mall here in our place, there was no exclusive cubicle for pregnant women, so I lined up. After a few seconds, the janitor or janitress approached me and guided me to the cubicle, which happened to be outside the main restroom. I was surprised, because im used to these people being passive.
