do you know any woman who does not like shopping? me? all the women i know loves shopping. when the shopping malls invite them with their open arms, they don’t let them down. women love to shop and the shops love them in return. be it cosmetics, groceries, lifestyle products, when they drop into the shops, they shop till they drop. it does not matter what kind of shopping that may be. window shopping, actual shopping or online shopping. with a friend or alone, women really enjoys walking around malls for hours and hours looking around. and do you know what amazes me? is seeing what they say the perfect item for them but still wont buy it and still looks around for hours and hours and then come back to the store where they saw the perfect item (which is very far already from where they are) and buys it.

I know a lot of women that only shop when they really need an item. I'm not into shopping, as my husband loves to shop. Many times I'll send him to get an item and he will use any coupons I give him.

I've heard about some but haven't met any... I admit I'm a shopaholic, I have a knack for make-up, fashion (plus accessories), books, CDs and stationery... and even arts and crafts thing. Oh, and the theatre. That's another hudge obsession. I've been pretty good this year, though, not letting myself splurge that much :D.

thats the good side of it, if you dont splurge that much. my wife loves to walk around the mall without buying anything. i dont know what is the purpose but i guess it is one of the way she releases stress. i dont see her splurging too but sometimes she buys things i dont get. but of course a guy sometimes does not really understand. and of course women sometimes does not understands us men. and that is the thrill of it har har har. thanks a lot for the response.

I'm an American living in Britain, and I know a lot of women like me who positively hate shopping with a passion most people reserve for love. I hate, loathe and detest shopping with every fibre of my frame. I have been known to sit in a car for a few minutes, trying to talk myself out of going into a mall just because I know I'm going to hate every minute of it. And I do. I hate window shopping, I hate shopping, and I hate shopping for clothes and shoes more than anything else. I would rather go to the dentist.

Women do lots of shopping its universal truth. Only one thing is remarkable, Purchasing done by women are more reliable & become cheaper than any men. Men do not do much stuff in any shop, while women do lots of arguments with shopkeeper or attendant. It’s also true that women purchase expensive cosmetics.

So far i haven't meet a woman friend of mine that doesn't like shopping, all of them love shopping either window shopping, cyber(online)shopping, store shopping, mall shopping, actual shopping or virtual shopping. They just want it all. You are right on the example of 'perfect item' scenario you just described above, everyone of the woman shopper i known of carry with her this type of mentality while shopping, it never stop amaze me too even after seeing the perfect item on the 1st store shelf she visited, a woman shopper can still spend many hours and prolong walking around the mall from store to store looking for that one perfect item again with the "PERFECT" price, ended up back to the first store again to make a final purchases. I guess woman shopper in general is the same everywhere no matter she is shopping in Phillippine; USA, China, India or Even Vietnam.

Now doesn't that show how good we are as shoppers? We don't buy on impulse but rather choose the best. We don't settle for less.

You can say that most of women are like that but I don't think that label will be applicable to me. I don;t really like shopping because they is sometime that is overly annoying about it. I only shop when I need to and I always stay within a budget. I often record my shopping trips so I know what I need and what I don't. yes, there are times when I feel like splurging but I don;t give in to the feeling. It's good to feel that you can buy or shop anything but the end of the day, you have to be practical. at least, that's how I live.
