OK. I went to the website and refreshed my memory. I read some reviews. Apparently Colton was seen as one of the most talented contestants remaining and it is seen as a real shock that he did go home. I was thinking that it might be Elise as I thought she put in a weak performance last night. I can not remember Colton's performance. Usually the judges love him, right? How did he do last night? Was it one of his poorer performances? The review that I read on line said that most of the contestants look real sad about going home but that Colton looked angry. Is that correct?

I love the guitar. I am a big folk music fan so I probably like Phillip's performances. I do not always sit and watch the TV during American idol. I listen while I play on computer sometimes. Two hours is too long for me to focus on TV. My attention span is sometimes short. Did Colton do a solo on piano last night? I know who he is now and I think that I found his performance a little boring last night. But other times, I have liked him. Doesn't he also play another instrument besides piano?

if it helps Colton is the one that usually has a mohawk. he usually has some kind of color in his hair also. Coloton plays the piano. Phillip is the one that has the country vibe. He comes out and he is always himself and he doesnt change for anyone. He can play the guitar very well :) idk if this helped you any but i thought i would try to help you remember which is which :) i use to get them mixed up and sometimes if im not looking at the tv i will not know which it is lol

I don't think it's rigged, otherwise Jessica would have never been in the bottom 3 last week. I've every single interview regarding jessica save on youtube. finally, it went down to watching TMZ interviewing Nigel, the producer of AI. even he find it strange that Jessica kept choosing songs that aren't popular to begin with, he was clear that last week Jessie didn't have enough votes. at this moment, it happened to colton this time, i mean come on did you see the performance of his in BAD Romance? am sure they are upset but there's nothing they can do about it now..but you know, like daughtry, there could be a huge future for him. like every one who makes it to the top 10, they always have a bright future ahead..so, don't feel sad.

and jessica didn't? last week she experiment and made that BBchez that cost her last week, i think that was a BIG BIG Mistake on her part. she should have been plain Jessica and not create an alternate ego, which cause people to mis interpret her.. the judges should have discourage her from using that alter ego of hers.

@NAILTECH -- Jaylo (not sure of spelling sry lol) looked upset that he was going home. she even had tears in her eyes but she didnt look as upset as they did last week when they saved Jessica. they did not like his song and i get that part but both Hollie and most definately Elise have had more "bad songs than he did. i would have called it a "fluke" after last week but after seeing this weeks results i agree it is a HUGE joke. i have heard about "the voice" and "x factor" but i havent seen anything about them. are they close to the same thing? or... i will be watching it because my people are phillip and skyler but it still upsets me that Colton went home tonight. that is messed up they banned you because they didnt want the truth from the people who are supposively voting to choose the next american idol. idk if it is rigged or not but after the past 2 weeks it really makes you wounder.... @LETRANKNIGHT25 -- i unserstand where you are coming from. i am sure that we will see Colton again sometime just like he commented at the end of the show. i just feel it is a little wrong he makes 1 mistake and goes home and Elise makes many and she stays in the bottom 3 many weeks and she keeps getting to stay.

@lk: phillip has been in my top 4 list, along with jessica, skylar and colton. but colton is no longer around. yeah, phil just has been consistent and was truest to himself as an artist. when he smiles after each performance and the camaraderie he has shown to the back-up band... wow. just sooooooooo nice. hehe as for jessica... (i'm a fan btw), audience normally gets a mixed feeling. her pipes are not the normal 16yo. her coloring is neither black or white. she hasn't really filled out yet coz she's really young. while her youth is endearing and all... some audience may not connect simply because adults deemed her inexperienced in life and it translates in her music. but gosh, i've cried many times hearing her sing. i guess it just invokes different emotions to different people. she's homeschooled and shy, so she doesn't really act socially as would regular teeners would. it just is too much to ask for a 16yo with a dream. i'd say, let her and her music be. and let her have her own experiences and learn from it. it is too much pressure to be on american idol already. win or not, i just wish her the best. coz i believe she's gonna be amazing. [b]@crazzydolphin: [/b] yeah at this point, everyone in the top 6 is gonna be a loss each week when elimination comes up. although i respect joshua as a performer (coz he really moves and grooves from head to toe when he sings), i'm not liking it when he gets standing ovations almost everytime. and randy nudging other judges off their feet. "standing Os" should be spontaneous i believe. makes me feel like no matter what happens, the judges will be rooting for him in the finale. do you get that feeling too?

Hello Myles, I think Phillip has been consistent too, even though those songs weren't my favorite list. Jessica's fans gathered and vote to the max, which is why she got saved, but we all noticed she really need to be more likeable and more connection with the audience. she will do better in days to come.

i agree at this point in the competition even the slightest mess up can send you home packing. i can agree with the bottom 3 if i sit and think of the last performances alone but as everyone ahs said Hollie redeemed herself a lot this week and showed she really wanted to be there. Colton yes he had a bag song so i figured he might have been there and i figured Elise would be she is always in the bottom 3 and i didnt like her performance so i thought it would have been elise and colton would have ahd atleast 1 more week. this is only my opinion but i feel things have taken some weird turns this yr i think we will be seeing some great things from all the the people left because they can now see no 1 is truely safe and they need to sing as tho they are singing fro their life each and every night. i look for consistancy because you cant be good 1 show and bad the next and good the next and expect to keep all your fans you need to have a good performance each time you set foot on the stage....

Yes, if it was just the judges determining the outcome then I'd be more inclined to believe it was rigged. I could see JLO's upset when Deandre was dismissed. She clearly favored him and I was so hoping that she would not sway the others into saving him.Now that there is only a few, it's tough. They are all very very talented and so much is a matter of just personal opinion. I think that's all it is.

Hello Sid, Something is not right though but what happened is clear that the show is not rigged. last week it was jessica and it proves fil am community should step up and vote for her again, otherwise she might be the next to go. there's no save anymore, they gotta do it better this time. have a nice day

@SID556 -- yes it isnt up to the judges anymore but i honestly feel they should have to watch what they say. i mean J-Lo was all like "america dont send this boy home, hes amazing, please dont let this boy go home" this was all about Joshua. i understand they liked him and he has a good voice but for them not to have it in their hands anymore they are sure putting ideas in peoples head that may not have been there before.....yes colton even said he would have an album sometime so i really hope that he does because he deserves it. @LETRANKNIGHT25 -- are you sure they didnt just put those people in the bottom 3 to "boost" ratings and to make more people vote? from what i understand they make more money the more people that vote. so if they added 2 to the bottom 3 and then the 1 that was suppose to go home it wouldnt surprise me at all.

yes that is very true. i didnt think of it like that. with colton off the show they have to pick a new favorite and the closest person to that is Phillip. i may stand corrected then. he may end up with the votes :) i have actually been hoping that at the end it will be skyler and phillip :) just the way that the results have been coming in makes me worry and wounder a lot about what might happen the next week.

i am thinkin Phillip may be in the bottom 3 next week but it will depend on his performance next week. i enjoy his voice and the way he presents him self :) but i am not sure that he is "idol" material. yes i also did not like his 2nd song but the 1st one he sang was pretty good. i just dont understand what id going through americas minds when they start to vote....

there are 3,416,840 Filipino Americans and there are Filipinos in the Phillippines with mad IP address changing skills to vote online. Then there is an increase of male voters.

i didnt know filipinos were not able to vote.... how can our votes determine the winner if everyone is not suppose to or able to vote for who they like?

i agree 100% Elise IS NOT the most talented there. like you said she has made mistake after mistake. she should ave gone home. Colton deserved another week to redeem himself. he has done so well the whole time and has NEVER been in the bottom 3 so the 1st time he is he goes home. what is that?? how is that possible??? i didnt see Hollie going home because she actually did better than she has been doing but for Colton to go home is just unreal!!

I agree with you. It has been a good competition this year. Elise had several weeks she was off key and that was overlooked. Really shouldn't say this but maybe it's time for her to go next week. Hope the viewers will remember her mistakes also.

Hello Carolbee, but her past mistakes is irrelevant to the performance that she did this week and i think she did it pretty good. any performance after the elimination i think is irrelevant now, what matters is what they did this week. i can't say she is but i think she did ok, otherwise, she would have been eliminated too.

this is the 1st season that i have actually watched it from the beginning to the end so i am not really sure about past seasons. i enjoyed it when i first started watching the show but i am getting very dissapointed in it now. i have heard everyone talking about the x factor but i have never seen anything about it. is it kind of like american idol?

but then i still like him.. I dislike Elise as her i do not think her vocal powers are that good.. but i can now support Jessica

Hello Jazel_juan, No joke Colton's been eliminated. Like what was said last week is that no one is safe because the save is already. i think he did a lot of mistake, first he acted arrogant when he said he didn't care about the judges remarks on him. second was his performance of lady gaga. sorry if i ruined it for you i usually try to wait to post about american idol since we do not all see it at the same time but i was so mad that he went home that i did not think about it lol. colton had a bad night by choosing the song he did but the 1st song he sang was good. i just dont see how elise who has been in the bottom 3 so many times and has made so many mistakes has made it this far. colton deserved another week. he has never been in the bottom 3 and he has been awesome the whole time.... now i realize no 1 really is safe and there is no telling what the next few weeks will bring...

i wasnt sure that he would actually make it to the top and win the whole thing but i thought he would have lasted longer than he did. i also would have liked ot see him win after losing last year. i just hope that he doesnt give up and he keeps going for his dream and that we will see him again some time :) i am not seeing and girls winning this year but i could be wrong. i am rooting for a skyler - phillip face off at the end but with the way it has played out the past 2 weeks i do not know what to expect anymore...

I'm a fairly new follower. I kind of just assumed that there was one of each. I agree that there should be. My reaction to Deandre"s popularity was that I felt much of it had to do with his looks and charm. I'm not saying that he didn't have some talent but it just felt overdone.

i didnt think about it like this but this is very true. this could be the factors. i would like to see the last 2 as sklyer and phillip and i am beginning to think that is may end up that way. i wish they would change the rules and allow 1 male and 1 female to win that way it is fair to all contestants. i mean they all have talent so it wouldnt be hurting anything to let them both with and get a contract with a record company.

Phillip is supported by Vote for the worst, it may help him or hurt him. I think Idol producers wants to break the 5 year streak of "cute guys with guitars" since they dont sell records and kinda alienated a lot of audience. This may sound unfair to guy contestants but producers wants to end their streak, because of some audience complaints.
