Well to start off with I really enjoy Latin Dancing... Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata and Merengue... So I went to a place I used to go to a lot... I havent been in 3 or 4 years and none of my old friends were there... So I found me a table and waited for the Instructor to show up... There are free lessons the first hour or so and I needed the practice (so Embarrasing)... Lol... As I was sitting there at the table drinking my drink (non alcholic) a couple came up and asked if they could share the table... It was actually two tables the managers had pushed together... I offered to share the table with them and they smiled and sat down... Now mind you they never once looked at me again or even bothered to say a word to me... A short while later some more of their friends showed up and proceded to join the table... Ok theres enough room still... I got up and went to the bath room leaving my drink on the table... When i got back there was another girl sitting in my place in front of my drink... As I stood there she finally reluctantly got up and let me sit down... Still none of them even acknowledged that I existed... A bit later I went to the bar for another "Faux-hito" and when I got back another different girl was in my seat in front of my half finished drink... Her friends never said anything to her but she got up to dance and I took my seat... When she got back she wanted me to move and I had to tell her that was my table and had been there since about 9 oclock... She finally sat across the table infront of me pouting... Man some people... I tried to be nice and they made me feel uncomfortable at my own table and tried to squeze me out... Oh well theres always next week...

Now you know not to give up your table so easy! I think it is hard at a dance club, because people get up and down to the bar, to dance without really 'keeping' their table. It is hard to know what is taken or not when people are coming in all night, and they don't know if that drink is there as a leftover, and still hadn't been cleaned up by the bus boy. Maybe take a friend with you next time to save your seat and your place?

Hi rewards, I know your right... One of the old tricks I used in the past was to put a napkin in top of the glass... That signals to the waiter and everyone else that the drink is not empty and someone is comming back for it... Im pretty much over it now, but like you said I wont be so nice in the future...

wow, sorry you had such a bad night, those people in my opiniom were very rude and had no right to invie other people to the table without asking you or at least moving the table so they had ther own, i mean how did they know that maybe you might have had some company coming yourself and they did not care.. i just dont understand rude people at all.. i would have at least sahd hi and i would have told my friends that was your spot and never acted that way.. hope next time is alot better for you... take care :)

Thank you... Actually I had invited a couple of my friends (Dance Instructors) and they said they might come... Fortunately they didnt make since the issue of the tables... But I hope to get back into the swing of things soon and be there when my friends are there as well...
