Oh just relax!
It is all going to depend on the mood of the writer then.Do we get continuous supplies from the same author? And some great ones and shakespeare and some more of them, other authors even take a break.Instead of writing, they would read books of other authors to get a hint or a tip of so as to how to write and develop their skill. You could develop and spend your time like that as well, for some period of time nah?
Go read books that interest you.Maybe you could get some ideas of writing then. And your mind can be relaxed as well.Leave it for a while,or change the topics of writing.Don't keep thinking about the same topic-maybe a day or some other-you could feel nothing is good in it.So change topics.Or read books and novels and get new hints or ideas which you could use when you write and when you fill your blog as well.Well?
Enjooy the scenarios around you.Thinking about in a pleasant atmosphere could really help you get with it.Change the place where you sit and write all the time, surrounding do help you in writing things you know?I write more, whenever i feel i writing, i go with these bits of paper to somewhere else, like the terrace or garden or somewhere pleasant. You would be in swings in no time again then,I joined this site because i could express all my views here by writing..
And it's proving to be good as well.
Good luck!
Keep going!
Cheers!!
Nithy.

Its just a mild case of writer's block. Wait it out. when it passes, you could write a story around it! :) And while it lasts, try catching up on your reading.

it happens. sometimes, you are just saturated with everything. I've started and given up on many books the same way. but keep reading anyway. one page, two pages...whatever you can manage. even if you feel you cant focus. it will keep your mind engaged subconsciously and will help you get back on track when your block passes :)

We are undergoing the same thing right now. But in my case, I want to write. I just don't know what to write. HAHA! Also, the spark ain't there anymore unlike when I was just starting. But of course, I still have passion for writing. ALthough I can't say I'm good with it. What matters is that I enjoy doing it.

We're on the same boat. I'm the type of writer who needs to be forced and the one who needs to be pushed. i write good stuff but sometimes it is hard when you don;t know what you are writing about (and you're supposed to be knowledgeable about it). Sometimes, I do get a burn-out once in a while but at the end of the day, I still find myself writing.

I feel the same way like you. I like to write but I don't like to have to write in topics that I am not interested. But if I have to do that to earn then I must do even if I don't like it. I also do not like to have to write to beat a deadline. Again, it is a must if I want to earn from my writing. I guess it is something I have to accept - it is just a job. Just do it and bring food on the table.

Hi jkcto2,
ya i have the same problem beating the deadlines, it is so annoying, but if i ask for large deadline the work is very minimum so i cant earn that much...that is also the problem...but i am trying to push myself to sit and write, that is causing all these wrong thing in my brain...ya you are right we as writer have to accept these deadlines and ridiculous topics..

You shouldn't be bored because you write ONLY when you feel emotional, like when your sad you write a lot. Also when you're happy. If there aren't very much stuff happening in your life all the ideas will blow from your mind and you won't be into writing stuff.. unless you want to write fictional short stories or so.. go ahead take a peace of paper and sit down and try to write.

Hi Talalar,
i am sorry i've never tried to write with my emotions..its just isn't so..i write to make some money, which i also enjoyed very much..but that is a good strategy though writing when you are sad or happy, but i've never tried these stuff before, but what should i write? what should i do with these overflowing emotion? Let me try that and i'll let you knw...can you show me some of these emotional article which you've come across or you've written yourself and published..i'd like to knw more about this way of writing..

Hi Salma, it is time for you to read, instead of worrying about writing ideas.
I think when you read more and interact more with other writers, the ideas and motivation will come naturally.
It is better for us now that we have internet.
Imagine those writers in ancient times.
They just have to force themselves to write, and they do not have much interaction with others.

When i find there is nothing to write, i will turn to reading books.reading some good books often arouse some interests and gives me a lot of pleasure. And gradually i have something to write. As the Internet is more and more popular One has good access to good books on the INternet.

I am having this kind of situation now too. Maybe you just need sometimes to rest and read other people's blog and things like that. Read more books as you can so you will have ideas on your writing. And also watching television will help too! Even listening to music will help I think. Try rest for a week and read, watch television and things like that in the whole week. I'm sure till then you will have lots of ideas back. Don't give up!
