Arsenal Vs. Chelsea - Battle for the Champions League Spot!! Predictions please!

It all depends on which club is hungrier!Right now? I think it is Chelsea. I must confess I root for Chelsea but I think they want it more Arsenal is firmly in 3rd place . Chelsea looks at each match As a final. I see it being a close game. 2-1 Chelsea.

Although Chelsea will have an eye on next Tuesday's match against Barcelona, they will not take this Arsenal match lightly. Being a London derby, as well as having a bearing on their quest for a spot in next season's UCL, both teams could not slow down whatever the circumstances. Drogba will not play in the match but Torres will. I always believe that Torres will come good for Chelsea one day. It may have taken a long time for that day to come but we can all see that it is nearer and nearer. With Drogba doubtful in the coming matches, it may be time for Torres to be himself again starting from this Arsenal game. I predict a 1-1 draw but I hope it will be 2-1 to Chelsea with Torres scoring.

I think Chelsea are a dangerous team when at full strength but so are arsenal, I think chelsea are pre-occupied with the Barcelona game and the Liverpool game in the FA Cup. I think also because Chelsea have a injury in defence with David Luiz, if Gary Cahill cannot perform well they will be in trouble. Arsenal have a great striker in Van Persie, they also have alot more pace on the pitch with Walcott and Chamberlain. If they put Walcott on the right and Chamberlain on the left they could rip through Chelsea with their pace and this would draw the fouls and this could lead to Arsenal scoring from set pieces. I think Chelsea are too reliant on Drogba and Lampard, with terry still not fully fit but pplaying with injured ribs you can see Arsenal targeting him and one bad fall on Terry would make him go off. I think if Arsenal play well and exploit the pace they have they could win this 3-0 , they just need to get Chelsea on the back foot, give them no time on the ball and be physical.

it was one of the way for arsenal they must take advantages from the concentration of chelsea .. before this derby, they had played extra for barcelona in stamford bridge even they won 1-0, it is not safe.. after this derby, they must come to nou camp and ensure that their winning in stamford bridge can be kept.. so thats why i can see that arsenal is favourite in this game arsenal had several reason, why they must win in this derby 1. they play in emirates.. 2. they are more fresh than chelsea.. 3. their concentration is full for EPL only 4. they had extra ambition for ensuring their position in champions league zone.. maybe i will pick that Arsenal can win 3-1

Well, that would be interesting derby match and not only battle for champion league place but also the proving who will be the london king. Seems Chelsea will have difficulty since they still exhausted and must be playing once evry three days.Arsenal will beat them but maybe not that easy, RDM has shown he has quality and still must convince abra, players trust him and good result will follow..

I think that Chelsea would grab the victory, but incredibly hard. Arsenal wouldn't give up the chance of winning the FA Cup after they went so far. We saw how they turned up the game against Everton and they grab the win out of no where. Other thing is that Arsenal's biggest game of the season is this one, so they would be on hundred percent. They will do everything to win this match. On the other hand, Chelsea gained a lot of confidence after their memorable wining against Barcelona on Stamford Bridge, and also the 5-1 win against Tottenham and this is probably their chance to secure their participation at the Champions League. There is possibility for Chelsea to not be on hundred percent because of their match against Barcelona, who's incredibly important for them, and that's a huge advantage for Arsenal. Arsenal should be on their best, and give everything they can for this game, and that could give them a huge chance of winning. I think Chelsea are the favorites and I hope they'll be the cup holders in the end of the game. Cheers !
