Coffee Mugs

I love coffee mugs, and everytime I see various kinds in places like Target, or K-Mart, I want one of each please. I don't buy dishes and coffee mugs out of thrift shops to eat off of or to drink out of. There is just something about drinking out of a cup that someone else has drank out of that creeps me out. I like my cups and dishes NEW. But I will buy an old coffee mug to put freshly cut flowers in, or to put packs of gum or candy in. I collect Martha Stewart books and magazines, also I collect Architectural Digest. I collect books, regular books and COOKbooks! I like to collect books about making drinks, cocktail books I guess you would call them. I also collect Hello Kitty, and I collect spiral notebooks, but I USE them, so I feel justified:) I also collect lotions, perfume, and shower and bath gels, but I USE those too.

I personally do not mind coffee mugs, but I can't say that I like them or collect them for that matter. I think I would have to like coffee, or tea for that matter first before I liked the mugs! I do have one though with Tweety on it for the occasional Hot Chocolate on those cold days. What is your favorite mug and why?

My husband is the same way with coffee mugs! Lol. He got a whole box of them for $2 and he was thrilled! He LOVES his coffee and his mugs. The only things I really get a lot is toys for my kids and things for my childcare. If theres anything at a thrift store for my childcare I have to have it!

I do have some coffee mugs that was given by some friends.I used to collect key chains which I bought to some places that I have been.

I don't collect mugs, but I have a few of them. I got a nice one from a friend, it's blue with white flowers on it. Then another one with a cute sheep on it from another friend, at that time sheep was my favorite animal. I have mugs that I got from a company I worked for. I have a big mug which was my grandma's, it's very old and my family wanted to throw it out, but I like it.

I also love collecting coffee mugs. It started during the time when people noticed how big of a coffee drinker I am. Suddenly, everyone seems to be giving me coffee mugs as a gift in every occasion. Well not in every occasion, but most of the occasion. I love collecting coffee mug because I know for a fact that I can use them. I love it the most if they have quirky designs. Most of the coffee mug I got from thrift stores carries design which I find interesting, inspiring, or even intriguing. Most of the companies I used to work for also have coffee mugs for their monthly giveaways or incentives, so they are an addition to my collections. I used to collect coffee mugs from well known coffee shops in our country but after realizing that they are way too pricey as compare to the coffee mugs I can purchase elsewhere with the same quality, I stopped spending money for it. Aside from coffee mugs I collect different plates and kitchen utensils because I used it for my work as a food photographer. Books are also part of my collections, if I may add that.

there are certain things that capture our attention and interest. some mugs are truly a masterful piece of art. some are simple. and others are very functional. i like the functionality and utility of things. but mugs become part of our daily lives. when we have coffee or tea, they are there with us, in our relaxed self. we even like to kiss them when we sip our coffee or tea. i like mugs. and i keep four.

I am not a coffee drinker but I always get coffee mug as gift. Coffee mugs are actually the most common Christmas giveaways so whenever Christmas comes I always get new coffee mugs of different colors, shapes and designs. My visitors who care for coffee use them whenever they visit my home.

I can't help but buy/get cute coffee mugs, too, when I only use like one regularly (and I don't drink coffee from them)-that one I got from a friend of my mom's and it has an orange-toned stylistically drawn scenery of a house and garden on it, beautiful :). I actually collect stamps and card calendars... and post cards and mini jugs from places I go to.

coffee mugs, there as so many kinds of coffee mugs, its up to you which will you choose, what style, color, design, short or tall, its up to you, the important is that you will enjoy your coffee, or milk or cocolate, its that feeling that you want some more i just for a 1 cup of coffee. just enjoy your coffee and just relax to get off the stress that you have
