How Did "Earth Day" Become Agenda 21?

How little we know about history and the origins of the "traditions of man".
And how blind we are to the way spiritual principles become politicized, thus political tools.
While it seems the original intent of "Earth Day" was good stewardship, responsibility, and gratitude toward our Creator for His creation, satan's minions work overtime to deceive, twist, and manipulate truth.
God said the earth was made for man, not man for the earth. Common sense dictates the responsible care, stewardship, and concern for our environment, but it in no way means that we "worship the creation" rather than the Creator.
There is no "mother earth", only Father God.
It is He who gave us life, liberty, and freedom from the tyranny that governments of man try to impose. Hitler thought he should decide who lives or dies as have other dictators and elitists throughout the world and time.
Perhaps that "time" is shorter than we think. Henry Kissinger told us that Obama would "lead us into the NWO." We've already seen the lawless one usurp our freedom, land, Constitution, and submit our sovereignty to the UN.........

The only "green' I see are the billions of "greenbacks" going into the pockets of the deceivers like Al Gore and the like as they try to make us pay for literally every breath WE take through manipulation and lies, while THEY travel the world causing pollution and polluted thinking.

The entire green agenda and the "concern" for Earth, which includes all of the measures proposed and being taken to protect the environment is all part of a larger plan to turn control over to a centralized world government. No one will believe this until it happens, and even then they will be blind to the foundations of these "sciences". Even now the UN is calling for "global taxes" on carbon, etc. You cannot impose a global tax until you give a global government authority that is higher than your own country's government. If you recognize this, then you are called a conspiracy theorist and a nutcase, but nevertheless, it will happen.

I have wondered, too, about how involved to be in politics. But it is the vehicle through which the changes will be brought about, there is a truth to be told and we are responsible to speak truth. I don't feel responsible to stand on a street corner with a sign that says "The End is Near", but I do feel that people have a right to hear the truth. Some may listen, others will not. We know that. Sometimes I think it doesn't matter what anyone says or does, the course is set. But there's still a warning to be sounded for those who will listen.

Yes, I think you are right about that.
I read a book called The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn. It is written as a novel but what is contained in it is based on truth.
A Harbinger is a portent, a warning of judgment from God. He contends that from 9/11 on what has taken place in America follows the same pattern as what happened to Israel when God sent judgment on them and the Assyrians ended the kingdom. Even down to the same words being said in defiance from Isaiah 9:10 on the Senate floor.
I highly recommend it if you can find it. It is a compelling read.

There is already mechanisms in place for it all. All they need is a 'good crisis' that they will 'not let go to waste.'
I heard a man from New Zealand say that the computers are in place to keep track of us all. The programs, the software, all of it. Ready and waiting. People don't want to believe it because it is prophecied in scripture, and not just Judeo/Chrisitan scripture. There are many lesser known prophecies about the one world government outside of Revelation or the Hebrew prophet Daniel.
Are we wasting our time Rollo, trying to convince people? I sometimes wonder if it is even right to follow the last dying breaths of the political aspirations of mankind.

I do agree; we are worshipping the creation, not the Creator.
I too believe in good stewardship, but not in placing the creation over the Creator. If people understood the bounty of God as they should, they would automatically do what is right for the earth and its inhabitants. They don't, so we have greed for power and material gain replacing good stewardship.
Sadly, our leaders have rejected the only possible way for humans to be good stewards. Let the people OWN their property and protect their rights to that property, and they will by their nature take care of their property for it is their means to care for themselves. Teach them morals and not vices, so they will be responsible and if they are not responsible, hold them accountable. Man has rejected his Maker, and that is why we are soon to see judgment.

Many thanks, Debra, for your cogent and wise response. It does my heart good to know that there are still "thinkers" among us who understand truth, which is found only in God's Word.
We have no real "leaders" in the sense that we should, no men of good Godly character who by dint of a relationship with God, have the wisdom and discernment necessary to "lead" His sheep.
Hard work, responsibility, accountability, OWNERSHIP are all vital to preserving the blessings we were given by our Creator.
Thus, those who would "rule" and subjugate us through their tyranny, discourage the above character qualities.

All we can do is warn people epicure. Try to get them to open their eyes. God's will WILL be done. And we cannot change one element of it, except our hearts and hopefully help someone else to open theirs.
