I'm about to finish the last part of my novel. It tooked me a year and a half to finalize and compile everything in one place. I randomly write to what paper stock that I have. I'm planning to post it also here in mylot if everything goes through.
What did you do to your novel? did you write a nover before? What did you do to your novel? Like for instance; was it been published?
Let me know your thoughts about it. I don't know yet if I'm about to convert it as a Manga with my artist friend or to just plainly; write it and share online. What are those guidelines or pointers when doing it online?

Try to check some stories related to it. Or if you have another fresh idea in mind; you can start another one. It doesn't mean that you're mandated to finish it; especially if you haven't released it in other sites. There's no pressure about it and don't worry. Wnat's important is you enjoy the novel that you're working on.
Check other's writting block in this site or in other websites. Some sites can help you enhance your ideas, sentence structure and some basics for novelist. Even if this is going to be your first time; idea and creativity still counts.

I haven't written a complete novel yet but when I was in
high school, I wrote just three chapters of a novel
I've been planning to write. I haven't finished it since then
because of lack of time and it need a lot of research since
it was set in the 19th century. I have been also planning
to write a different novel which is like a semi-autobiography
and I have only written the 1st chapter. I don't know how to
get it published even though I want to.

Wkipedia is always handy. Sometimes I'm using that handy-dandy website to search anything under the sun... and also to make sure that I didn't get any novel same as mine ^_^-)

Thake your time; budding writter. There's so much for you to explore before putting it on a paper or ebook.
That may take a lot of time but it's okay as long as you enjoy what you're doing and what you want to write about as a novel. Thanks for letting me know about it. You can share details about it here in mylot and how you feel about doing it so far ^_^-)

Yes, yes. There are also a lot of good sites for research.
I don't need to be 100% accurate just because it's a historical
novel but I really want as much as possible that the details are
right. My novels will take so much time to finish.

I tried writing a comic when I was in elementary. I like writing stories. But when I reached high school I didn't have the interest to write anymore. But wow..you did write novels. I wish I could read them. ^^ I guess I have to give it a try one more time. But I guess I am not good at writing but I can make good stories maybe.

No problem. I'm now on the process in publishing it thru online first; as per one of the mylotters encourage me. And also based on ther mylotter's point of view; it's going to be easier publishing it online then publish it on books once it gains popularity.
And also; saves a lot of paperstock ^_^-)
Happy mylotting my fiend also and looking forward to see you reading one of my novels.

I don't like writing too much. And I'm not good in writing since highschool. My lowest grade was in English Literature. I hope to learn writing because it can be a part time job that I can earn online.

Oh, how many times... I have like at least 6 unfinished or just started novels. The thing, is so many good ideas pop to my mind, and then, when I start writing, I always realize I'm not a talented writer.
Oh, I've actually finished one novel when I was about 13... it was your typical sappy teenage novel about love and friendship and an artistic heroine who wants to change the local world... and unfortunately it disappeared when my then-computer crashed. I'd so read that one right now, just for fun :).

Oh... that really sucks... when you're in the middle of compiling all the stuffs you have made in one computer and then suddenly it crashed? Poor thing here is the time wasted and efforts in vain typing. Hope there was a better way to back up files before but at for some point; if we get too excited we forget to have a back up file on it and hurry ourselves to finished it.
Have you experienced it before? the awkward moment that you have finished everything and your computer or laptop crashed without saving it in another back up file (or atleast hitting the SAVE button before all heck breaks loose)?

Hi there, When I was in high school and we are required to have a book report, that was when I started reading books. And then whenever I read a good story it will always inspire me to make a novel too. But sad to say, I only got the introduction or the epilogue done. But I do right short stories way back, I don't know what happened but I stopped. Maybe because when I went to college, life is hard keeping my grades up to the standard. Well, I think it would be cute if you convert it to manga, because I do read manga too. But its totally up to you because you know the story well. If you did great you might earn money from it too. Good luck and God bless!

Online allows for more access obviously and more readers. It is becoming more popular, and hard books are harder to come by these days so if you do publish, try online first. You might have to get a couple hundred hard cover books to cover cost, but I wouldn't put the main focus into this. I have thought of ideas for different novels, and even written down titles and talbe of contents, but have never actually written one. I may do so one day, and the author gene tends to run in our family. Good luck on getting published!
