i do want to enjoy the music in my new playbook or tablet. but i don't want other people in the house to hear the loud music and so i plugged in the headset. after a few songs , my ears just hurt so bad even though i lowered the music to make more bearable to my ears. i think it is not just advisable to use a headset often .

Yes, it is not good to use a headset for a very long time especially if the volume is so loud. The advisable volume is 20 % of the maximum volume..you shuld take breaks from using headphones...

You're right, using headphones or a headset isn't really good for the health but to me it feels better and let's me keep the privacy of my music choices as well as helps me not to disturb my family with loud music.Still,it's better to just listen to music with speakers if you have the chance, besides when listening with speakers you can enjoy the music without causing your head or ears to hurt but just make sure you're not bothering your family of neighbors with loud music and,of course, listen to music the way it makes you feel best,it's your choice, really.

I've noticed that when i wear the earbud type earphones my ears hurt, but that's only because of them being in my ear. When I wear normal headphones, which I haven't in years, it slips from my head or is just annoying to wear. No it's not good to wear those earphones etc, but they are very convenient.

I think it really matters how loud the music you set when listening to your headset. You must set it into a normal volume because setting it in a loud volume concentrates the sound in your ear, making it hurt. I usually resulted to headache when listening to headset with high volume.
Proper usage of the said accessories must be considered.

I like wearing headphones or earphones. They're very helpful because I like to listen to music wherever I go. But I don't have trouble with it maybe because I don't wear them for long periods of time. If I do, my ears become itchy. I also don't listen to it loud. I mean, whenever I use my earphones, I make sure that I can still hear ambient sounds around me clearly. And when I have to talk to someone, I make sure that I remove them because I want to hear them better and also I think it's rude to speak to someone while wearing earphones. Anyway, if your ears hurt after just a few songs, maybe it was too loud? My basis of "too loud" is if you can't hear outside noises anymore and all you hear is the music. If your volume was not that loud, maybe you have sensitive ears. If you do, you should really should not wear them. Hope all goes well with you!

Hello friend,
The headphone is not good for our health. It is injurious for our ear. So I don't like it. I listen the music with low volume and without headphone.
Have a nice day.
