I am in Doha-Qatar holding a visit visa, trying to find a job in accounting department. I was so excited the first week but suddenly I lost it. Most of the employer was looking for experienced accountant here in Doha or with experienced in accounting system like peach tree or tally system. The question is, how am I going to have an experience if they don't give me a chance, right? It is much better in my country. Everybody will be given a chance and after the evaluation. Then move to the second level of full pledge employee or a regular one. Of course all credentials are being authenticated.

I feel for you. Don't worry eventually you will be able to find a job. As long as you ppersevere, don't lose hope. Maybe you can take other jobs first, work part-time to support your needs. Who knows you'll get to love jobs offered in another field and hopefully you'll excel in it, get promoted after awhile.

I don't want to work on part-time basis. My visa will expired within less than a month. And I might abuse by my employer to cut processing cost. Thanks for your response.

i am so sorry to hear that. where country are you from? i hope you are living right now with friend or family member in qatar while you are trying to find work there. i think this happens everywhere.. everyone wants people who already have had an experience in the job they are applying for. after all, training costs are rather difficult for companies who does not want to invest more. i hope you find work already there, just always pray and you should be able to find your way around there.

I came from the Philippines and I work there for four years doing an accounting job. I have decided to go back home and be with my family. I haven't arrive with my country yet but I have job offer already. I think this country under estimate my credentials. I really don't care. I don't have to love this country.
