I know that this life involves many things. I also believe that of course crying is a part of it. Is crying shows that a certain person is weak? Or is it a sign of strength? I'm really wondering. When a certain person deprives himself to cry, so he can be strong, would it really solve the issues within him? What if he cries? Are those tears will lessen his burden? What do you think? I really wonder..

I don't think crying is a sign of weakness. It will lessen his burden, yes. It's one way for a person to let out his frustrations. If you just allow it to be built up, you will be the one to suffer the consequences. But all in all, it depends on the person on how he/she handles things.

It really depends upon the situation and the person who cries. Sometimes there are people who are fond of crying as if they carry the whole world. They enjoy letting others see that they always cry.
I had a boy classmate who really has a very weak personality. He always cried during class discussion even if he's not teased by the class. Whenever he feels he committed a mistake, he will cry. That's a sign of weakness. So it really depends on the person and on the situation. I usually cry because I'm weak, and I can't handle any problems without crying. I'm weak for I never let anyone knows that I always cry. They think that I'm strong. So my point here is we can never tell if this person always cries or not unless we are with him 24 hours a day.

for me i think crying is showing how true person you are.it is a sign of courage for me...there is nothing wrong in crying no matter if its a tears of joy or tears of sadness...a man who does not cry for me is a coward who refuse to let other people see his weakness...

Crying can not be considered a sign of weakness especially for men. In fact it could be a sign of strength too. It's a stress reliever too, a good reason why we feel better after a good cry. I guess it pacify anger too.

I think that crying is a perfectly normal thing to do, and most people find that they actually feel a lot better after having a good cry as it allows their emotions to be released and they can calm themselves down again. I think that I would not like to cry in front of people, and this is something that I have tried not to do throughout school, and throughout my life so far. I think that it makes me seem weak, but I don't know why I think that because if someone were to cry in front of me I would not think that they were weak at all.

hi there,
lately i felt like i was crushed and i just needed to cry it all out but then it is hard for me to do it, i feel like i need my friends around me to comfort me. i am just trying to be strong and i want to keep it all to myself first and wait for the right time till i am with my friends. my friends are so far away from me. i would travel 2 hours just to see them and some of my friends are already abroad.
to me crying is very important. it can mean that you are weak or strong. you just have to let your feelings out no matter what that is.

It's hard to say if crying is a sign of weakness or strenght. It depends on the person. To some crying is relieving, after that they can go on way stronger. Others stick into self pityness and cry day and night and there is no relief (or going on) at all. To others (those who seldom cry) crying is a sign of weakness or perhaps strenght.. (showing a strong person has feelings too).
It is not said that depressed people cry day and night, no matter how depressed they feel.

Adding another twist to the crying argument, perhaps, we cry (as a natural response) to expand your lungs. Do you remember that on entry into the world, we all cried in order to expand our lungs, when we were babies?
On a serious note, crying does not indicate whether one is strong or weak. Everyone does it at some stage of their lives; sometimes, depending on the situation. I think that whenever the moment comes along, just 'dive in' and let it out.
Sometimes, after crying, one may obtain a measure of relief from the inherent stress that caused one to cry in the first place.

Crying is one of the many things that we human can do to express our emotions. People may say that crying is a sign of weakness, but I do not agree. We cry for a lot of different reason, the same way we smile for a lot of different reasons as well.
If one force himself or herself not to cry, just because it is a sign of weakness to do so, it would not really solved whatever it is that he or she is facing. As a matter of fact, not crying at all because you are afraid that people might see you as someone who lacks strength is a sure sign of weakness. Isn't it being afraid to show your emotion a sign of weakness? Why hold back the tears when you are hurting? We are human. We are entitled to all these emotions, hence, we have all the rights to bask on the feeling and pour our hearts out until such time that we are ready again to smile.

I have to admit that cry can release pressure on you to some extent. After we have cried,we may be better. This is my experience. However, things are still things. There is nothing else we can do but to face them. The best way to do it is to calm down and to solve the problems. This is also my experience.Well,if you defeat yourself, there is nothing difficult in the world.Do you agree with me?

To me, I would never cry in front of my friends because they would laugh at me, crying can be a sign of strength. But if a person cries for a small reason that means he is weak and can't stand for himself in some situations.

Crying is not a sign of weakness. Feeling pain and crying your heart out means that you're strong enough to admit that you are human therefore vulnerable to such emotions. You need to let it all out sometimes, let tears wash down all the pain in your heart.
