Indonesian bloody singer, Anggun C Sasmi, re-carve the achievements abroad. She will represent France in the final of the Eurovision song contest 2012 in the capital of Azerbaidjan, Baku, next May 26th 2012. "This is just one challenge, new challenges," Anggun said in an interview quoted by the website Radio Netherland Worldwide Indonesia, Friday (16/03/2012). In the contest, Anggun promote a new song titled Echo (You and I). In order to contest it, Anggun has toured countries in Europe to promote the song. In the clip video, Anggun look sexy in her famous fashion designer, Jean-Paul Gaultier. Women who began his career in Indonesia with the song "The World I Got" and "Dreams" is choosing to pursue an international career by leaving Indonesia in 1996. Her first album since a career abroad "La Neige au Sahara" aka "Snow on the Sahara" to penetrate the European charts, and even internationally in 1997. Indonesia is Naturalism She could represent the France because it's already a citizen of this country. Nevertheless, Anggun admitted to not leave all her Indonesia habit. Anggun still feel himself as Indonesia. "I am an Indonesian, a 100 percent blood of Java . My son talk to the Java language everyday. There was rice everyday at home," said Anggun. According to her, Anggun difference then and now it just changes the color of her passport. She believes that her Indonesia's habit is something that's natural. Not something to be promised or said. So she felt no need to bother always claiming to be from Indonesia in public. "A lot of people outside of Indonesia knew who I was and where it came from. They're supposed to know from the internet. Everywhere," Anggun said. She said that whenever foreign journalists interviewed, they are always curious because her name is not a typical French, Anggun. -Quoted from entertainment news-

I watched the whole Eurovision song contest finals last night. She did a good job, but not one of my favourites, nor the voting countries' favourites. All the ones I picked to win came nearly last! It's a good job I didn't put money on it - not that I would. I had no idea she was Indonesian. The voting system is quite complex - necessarily so, but I felt there was some form of political bias in the people's voting depending on which country they came from. Overall, I think the Eurovision Song Contest is steadily improving!

Oh yes, and the winner this year was Sweden's Loreen, so 2013 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Stockholm.

Anggun! She is one of the women I adore because she never forgot her homeland even she is now has French nationality, she never forgot to speak in Indonesian when she is in Indonesia, she said she still able to speak in Javanese. She shows her loves to Indonesia and France, she has her album in English, French and Indonesian. She said she always speak in Indonesia with her daughter, im curious to see her daughter but Anggun always spare her personal life and her career as a singer so she would never bring her daughter to public, she wants a privacy for her daughter. she has a daughter named Kirana Cipta Montana (not a son as what you wrote in your discussion) Do you know many people bashes her because she changed her nationality to French, they called her as a traitor and its make me angry, Anggun is more Indonesian than those Indonesian who lives in Indonesia but try to looks like a foreigner . It is so unfair to called Anggun in bad way, she always proud of her Indonesian blood, she has Indonesian albums aside from her English and French albums, she also uses some of Indonesian music or language in some of her songs, she also works as FAO ambassador. She is a true beauty of Indonesian people and I admire her. Even she is no longer has Indonesian nationality but her heart is Indonesian. The reason why Anggun decided to give up her Indonesian nationality because our government specially the embassy never supported her, when she had a tight schedulle to perform in other countries the embassy never helped her! And im sure they was trying to get some money from Anggun, I mean come on...im just an ordinary people when I made my passport the immigration was trying to get more money from me so imagine Anggun's situation she is a famous singer and has so many concerts outside, I bet the immigration was trying to get money from her. I hope Anggun will win this eurovision contest because France deserves to win, I admire France to support Anggun's career and even allows her to represent France in eurovision song contest.
