I am planning to buy a digital camera within six months. Which one is the best and which one is the one you are having and you have used and what is your experience about your digital camera?

I only have pocket camera because the photos are only for web, not for printing. If your hobby is photography you'd better buy the good one but if you are a novice you can start with a pocket camera. It's yours to decide, anyway.

It happened to me too, I've always wanted to have a camera of my own. The real cameras are different to phone cameras. I hope you will get it soon.

Hey whts up buddy, if you can only let me know what is your range I mean your budget to buy a digital cam. Like it can vary from 100-400 or more. Right now I have a sony cyber shot 7 mega pixel. You can always go to a bestbuy store close to you. Once you get there just look around, if I were to buy one I would look for the following thigs. About 10 mega pixel Most of them have panaroma.( meaning able to capture a really wide shot) Face and smile detection. 720p or 1080p video recording. A camera i found at a Sams store was for $175 with all those features. Let me know your buying range and I will find the beat digital cam I can. :)

Sony cybershot is at my mind right now. I have seen them recently in the shops and thinks there are lots of features.

If I were to buy a digital camera, I'd buy a Sony Cybershot TX5 or a Nikon Tough. Those cams are shockproof, dustproof and waterproof, so it would be cool to bring them on adventures because you can pretty much do anything with them. I don't know if newer models have come on board but I'd like those features on my cam. I do have a cam but it's pretty old. It's a Sony Cybershot T2, the thing I like about it is that it has 4GB internal memory. I've had it for about 3 years now, and I still like. Not waterproof though.

Well, it depends on the type of camera you're searching for. If you're searching for a compact, I'd recommend any of the Nikons of that sort. If it's a DSLR you're looking for I'd recommend a Canon or even better (but also more expensive) a Nikon D7000. If you're looking for an inbetween (a bridge camera) the Fujifilm S2940. I had a Nikon L15, and then a GE C1433. They were both good compacts. And my most recent camera is a Fujifilm S2940. It's fantastic. But be careful, the photos don't show up colour perfect on a laptop screen. You'll be very disappointed when looking at them on a laptop, compared to the camera. If you want the true colour of your photos, either print them, or hook up to a better monitor.
