when the lizard gets put through the door into the trailer, cant he just find a new door like the main two monsters did? and why is the little girl, boo i think, such a danger to the monsters in the beginning? i thought the humans were afraid of the monsters. then its like the big blue guy gets all lovey for her and takes care of her. WHY????

Movies often don’t make much sense to people who watch them closely. As long as you’re willing to ignore minor details, your movies will be more enjoyable. As for Boo not being afraid of Sully, and him taking care of her… don’t you think that makes the story more enjoyable?

Did you watch this movie in its entirety? If you didn't I suggest going back and watching it again. It clearly explains in the beginning of the movie that children are afraid of monsters, and in irony, monsters are just as afraid of human's touch. Boo gets out of her door and has be to taken care of by two monsters before being taken back to her own 'world'. Yes, the lizard could eventaully find a new door to come out of, but then it wouldn't lead to the 'happy' ending.
