Metta World Peace might be suspended for elbowing James Harden after celebrating a dunk he made. I mean it really looks a very cheap shot to me and I think there was really no need to do that since Harden was just standing waiting for the ball he didn't even have any contact with Metta that's why I am pretty confused on why he did it, Harden wasn't even the one who tried to chase and block his dunk in the first place. What are your thoughts? Should Metta be suspended for his immature acts?

MWP told the media that it's unintentional but to me and most of NBA fans, it is clearly intentional. We all know now about the latest news regarding this issue, he is suspended for 7 games. It's about 1 or 1.5 play-off series already and it's a huge loss for Lakers. He's the main defensive player for the team and it gives them a big hole. I think, he deserves the suspension. Now his surname is just the opposite of what he is doing.

There was nothing peaceful about Metta yesterday, I don't know what that man was thinking, I really don't. YES, he should be suspended because he could have really HURT that man. Metta is a big man, it's not like he has arms like some SKINNY player out there, on top of that, he is CRAZY (you know Metta ain't WRAPPED too tight), so you know when he hits, he hits with a stronger force than say a "normal" man would.
I looked at the replay, like everyone else has, and Harden was just too close to Metta. He must not KNOW about Metta, because Harden seemed to me to be acting like he could just be all up on Metta like that. But you don't GET all up on Metta like that. That's when the ARTEST came out (even so, he should not have elbowed that man like that).
Metta tried to play it off after the fact and say that he was pounding his chest, just celebrating, but that elbow was CLEARLY a "get off me", that he took to the extreme, as he has often done in the past. They need to sit him down for awhile because the playoffs are coming and we don't need anybody suffering brain damage because they happened to be too close to Metta.
