Learning new things is almost always like a new adventure to an entirely new kind of 'world'. Some people for example learn new language and they find their world expand a lot more as they are able to speak with people who speaks those language, be able read books with those language, and a lot more benefits. The variety of things to learn in infinite. You can learn how to play a certain musical instrument, how to play a particular sports, how to fly an airplane, how to cook, how to be an engineer or a lawyer, and many many more. I want to ask you now...what new things do you want to learn and your reason behind it?

It's amazing how learning one skill can give you a lot of confidence in learning another skill. When you learned how to swim, you probably have that feeling that you can learn anything, is that right? Anyway, I had piano lessons for a short time when I was very young so I know a little about it. I remember it's a great feeling when I was able to play some good music with the piano...and hoping my neighborhood crush was listening and loving it. haha. Anyway, good luck! I really hope you will have an opportunity to learn how to play the piano.

I agree. Every big things starts small. I remember the parable of the mustard seed, it's just a very small seed but later on turns into one of the biggest trees around.
I hope your plans to be able to play and learn piano comes true soon...with the genie saying "your wish is my command"...

to be honest i was getting to believe that i will never learn how to swim and then i did it by myself and that was very encouraging.
it is true that in life you have to achive small goals step by step in order to achive the big goal.
i hope my fingers will touch the piano soon.

Learning new things is good for us. If it were a language I would learn French. I really want to learn to be a better writer. Always learning new techniques and bettering my craft. That is important to me because I want to be a very good writer. And learning more about herbs and natural remedies. Makes me feel good to learn how to help myself and my family and freinds in the natural way.

Learning something for the benefit of your family is very commendable. I think the skill of writing is a difficult one, and I can see that's your forte. Writing is similar to being a song composer, and if you're really good at it you can even be a book author. if it becomes a bestseller, then you've made a fortune out of it.

I want to learn SEM and all those stuff connected to making money from blogs. I've heard of people making good money out of this, and I hate that I couldn't do self study on the skills needed. Its a shame because I am a Computer Science graduate, but I left all of my knowledge in programming when I entered the world of management. Since, Im working from home now, I'd like to further my knowledge with computers and the internet to get a living from it.

I am also getting interested in this blogging opportunity, because I know I have some talent in writing so maybe this can be a good potential source of income. I think we will only find it difficult at the start but when we are able to make our first successful earning blog, then it becomes easier and we get better and better at it. If you find a good site that teaches how blogging works in a clear step by step guide, please let me know...same here.
In college I studied Tourism but wasn't able to make use of it also because the jobs I chose are in sales. I believe that kind of situation happens a lot to many people. I heard of doctors turning full time to network marketing and earning a lot more there and those kinds of similar situations are common.

For me I want to learn how to drive ,obviously it would be good to roam around at your very own pace right much more wonderful if you know how drive isn't it because all you have to do is just right away sit on the car strike its pedal and run by your own speed then at that very moment you can enjoy the wonders of nature by looking around the beauty of the park for example, smell the aroma of the flowers surrounding it have a glance with all the other scenery ,on the other hand I also want to learn how to cook because I want to have a taste on it at hand right then and then so that right away I can compare the difference of cooking it by myself or eating it at a restaurant what a fascination i can say I hope I could full fill it someday and make it a reality too.

Driving would be exciting to learn, for sure. I have to warn you that in the beginning, you can't enjoy the wonders of nature yet because for sure your focus would be on how much do I push the gas pedal, how do I calculate how much I push the gas pedal with how much I release the clutch pedal, when do I change gears, etc...lol. But don't worry about it, when you get used to them it would be second nature to you. And that's the time you can enjoy the wonders of nature around you :)
Cooking is also an interesting hobby to learn. If you can cook something that would be more delicious than those you eat in a restaurant, I think it would be better to put up your own restaurant and make it a career :D

There are lots of things coming to my mind. I'd love to play an instrument... I kind of have a fascination by cello. Also, to sew, crochet, embroider etc. :). Those come to my mind right now. Oh, and I would love to take part in a graphology crash course!

Cello i believe is a wind instrument similar to trumpet, right? The others you mentioned I'm familiar with except for graphology crash course, is it the study of graphs, and if yes what kinds of graphs?
Anyway, good luck to your plans. I think when we plan things in our minds, the subconscious has the power to make them realities in the future. It happened to me lots of times already...before, I was thinking about something and speaking it at times to others, and then later on I found out I was doing it already. I always amazes me, and so now I keep on imagining what I wanted in the future and the things I wanted to do and learn:D

I want to learn how to speak:
1. Spanish-
we have a strong Spanish influence. As a former colony of Spain, we use common words in Spanish and therefore it's easy for us to learn the language given the proper training. My mom said, when they were in college back in the 70's they even have it as part of their curriculum.
2. Korean- I'm just really intrigue by Korea's rich culture and want to visit their country one day. It would also be nice to know how to speak their language to better enjoy my stay there, interacting with people and sharing my culture as well.
3. French- It's sexy hearing someone speak in French. It sounds so foreign, not that other languages aren't, it's something I'm not familiar of. I love the accent and I also want to visit France someday.

Those three languages are attractive for me to learn too. For one, I'm 12.5% Spanish. Learning Korean is also good for me because I have been teaching English to my Korean friends for a long time already, it would be an advantage if I speak Korean. I also want to learn French because French people sounds sexy when they speak, so maybe it would add to my appeal...lol.
Anyway, learning new languages really boosts up your mental capabilities.

I remembered learning how to drive when I was in high school. Now there are so many schools for driving lessons. I remembered it was my brothers who taught me how to drive and it was a thrilling experience for me at that time...but also scary. I guess for safety sake, practicing in places where there are no other vehicles and not many people are good places to practice.

Learning how to paint is really an art worth learning, I think. There is a great sense of pride and joy in creating...and it is also true in painting. I compose songs and had two of my songs taken by real singers, so I know the feeling of creating...when I finished making my composition and submitted it and was taken by the recording company for their talent, there's a feeling of real pride in what you have created. It feels good to create any kind of art, so I can imagine it would feel good to create your first painting. Later on if you become good at it, there is the added benefit of making money out of them by selling your paintings.

I want to learn how to play a guitar and also make music beats using those equipments they use in the studio. I am a music lover and I can sing but it's just that I do not know how to play an instrument really well I mean it's because I lack time to practice because of my busy schedule in school but that's all I want.

I know how to play the guitar, but I'm only moderate at it. I hope I can learn how to play like Earl Klugh, the popular guitar player in the 80's. In your case, maybe you have a short time on weekends to practice it? I think in any kind of new endeavor, having time to learn it is very important. To master any new skills, practice time is essential but if you just want to learn something in a moderate level, a few time set for learning it is enough.
