My friend wants to hide what he read in Younews.in. It is displayed on all of his friends wall. He's not aware that it will be displayed. He wants privacy, and he does not want anyone to know that he's reading this kind of stories. I am trying to help him because we are best of friends. He immediately logged in to his FB account, and tried to hide it. He was able to hide it in his timeline. The problem is when we checked it on my Facebook wall, it's still there. It's shared with Public. How can we hide it? We already tried some settings, but it didn't work. I know there's a fix, but the problem is we can't find it.

Why you do not want to share it? I think you can delete the post, just find the x button on the area of your post. However, younews is a website and it does not automatically post articles to your fb account unless you shared it by pressing the fb share button. That is the reason, why his friends got the news.

Did he open an application for that site? . Also, just to clear, is the post on his friend's profile or just in news feed. I think when somebody shared a link on facebook, it is only showed in news feed of his friends not on their profile unless a specific application is use to automatically share it on fb users.

I always see updates on my wall that some of my friends read articles in Yahoo. I didn't wonder that much for Yahoo account is usually connected to Facebook account. In my friend's case, the article he read is from Younews. Maybe you're assumption is correct, that he shared it, but I wonder why he did. I know him very well, and he's not the type of person who will share this kind of article.
