I have several gmail accounts and love opening them at the same time but I can not do it. I have to close the others and only have single gmail account opened. So, if I want to check other emails at other gmail accounts, I have to close the already opened gmail account. BlackBerry acutally allows us to have several accounts and we can open it without having to close the others, right, my friends?

There is a way to have multiple accounts open, but you have to use different browsers. With IE, Opera, Chrome, Safari and Firefox the most popular, you could have 5 open simultaneously. There is an open source project called Chromium, which is based on the Chrome browser, so if you use that as well you could have 6 open.

Hi, Mashnn. Very well, thank you. Where have you been? Ain't seen you for ages. Internet explorer is slow in my pc. I've been using other browsers so far.

Yes blackberry phones allow us to have multiple accounts and we can receive mails and open them all together at the same time. But then again it's a smartphone that has email applications to allow this thing. Unlike computers that is mandated by the rules of the gmails.
If you have blackberry maybe we can be bbm friends. You can give me your pin. You can just pm me for that.

hi toni, yes I will pm you and give you my pin.By the way, Do you also use your blackberry for mylotting? So far emails on pc depends on browsers. Windows should be able to think of this limited capability. If blackberry can provide multiple accounts opened at the same time (nokia does too), why can't windows operating system? Let's wait. who knows windows 10 will make that possible.

We can't open several gmail account at the same time on 1 computer. Yahoo mail is the same. I think it does make scene, it is the way to protect our email also.
I don't use blackberry then i don't know exactly it allows you open many gmail/yahoo mail accounts on it also.

We can open several accounts for just one site in just one computer. You only need several internet browsers to open them. It is possible for it to open 1 account to one browser then another account to another browser.

Hello, yanzalong! I have two Gmail accounts, but I seldom open them. I am using them in tasks. What I always open are my three Yahoo mail accounts. I am using three different browsers so that I can log in to them simultaneously. With regard to Blackberry, I am not sure for I never had a chance to use a Blackberry.

In that case more than one browsers have to be opened in order that we can open several emails from different accounts. Thank for the info.

Yes, if you want to open several accounts from the same site, you can do it by using different browser for each account. But i seldom use this method. I have two gmail accounts but i am closing the other one if i want to open the other account. They are both active.

I think window as the operating system should make it possible to set up several email account not the browsers.

Yanza, same like you, i always open only 1 gmail account whenever i am online. I ever tried opening 2 gmail accounts at the same browser but seems impossible. After reading the answers given by same respondent here, i tried using 2 different browsers and happy able to open many accounts at the same time. So, should we use 3 different browsers if we want to open 3 different gmail accounts at the same time? Sounds not so convenient to me. Have a nice weekend...

Doesn't your pc slow down when you open more than one browser? If it doesn't, opening more than one browser is better instead of having a software that can open multiple accounts. What do you think?

It's the same for yahoo mail, i'm not able to open them all at the same time unless i'm using my iphone or android phone. It's just not possible to open all using desktop, laptop. It's something to do with our ip address or whatever is there? If ever i need to check certain mails from different accounts, i will simply use my smartphone, it's much faster when everything is just a tap away.

How about sending a large file via emails in a smart phone? Can you send it fast, too? I tried sending 5 mega bite file via email in a blackberry but it failed.

How you can open it in other Tab. I can't do like that. I think you are confused. We can open it in other Web Browser..

It's all about cookies + session management. Most browser wouldn't allow you to put multiple cookies from same site. It's for everyone else's good sake. Believe me.
But you should be able to open multiple gmail accounts on the same computer at the same time, anyway. Just open those with different browsers.. :)

I have three gmail accounts, and I just noticed that one of them allows me to log in with another account. When I log out I have another option, to log in with a different account, and then I have an option to switch between the two. I'm just checking my settings but i can't see what the difference is and how it is possible. Normally gmail didn't allow it, I have set a background in that profile, but don't remember what else.

I have installed Thunderbird, in which you can have multiple accounts. It's nice to be able to read all incoming emails in one place but the problem with that is that I can't send emails. I've tried to change some settings but still I can't send emails. Do you have any idea about it?

Window 8 will probably do the trick. In my smart phone, I have set up several email addresses from the same provider. It's great, isn't it? Happy mylotting my friend.

I have seen an option in gmail to add another gmail account, that option is there just on the side of the signout button in gmail when you login through a browser. I think by that we can login in to multiple accounts of gmail.
I don't have multiple gmail accounts, so I haven't tried that option ...

That's kind of my problem, too. Because I have a work e-mail address which is oh-so-official with my whole name, and one which is more me... I could only make that possible that the stuff from my work e-mail arrive at my normal account, too. I don't have a Blackberry, so if I'm sending mails from my work e-mail, I have to constantly log in and out...
