I'm playing the Nation Speaks. It's realyl a cool game of ruling a nation with given issues ahead. Your role is to answer their insights about the issue.
There is one scenario in the game in which it still bothers me. Here is the scenario:
A group of doctors and surgeons are in a petition to the Government about getting body parts from the dead to use it for replacing and treating illness and surgical procedures. One group says that eventually the patient will die and before it happens; we'll make use of the dead to save another's life. On the contrary; a group of people says; "You take off your hands on my organ!" and their point is they wouldn't allow the government to own their bodies once they're dead.
So would you allow the government to take yours? hahaha.. I want to know your feedback about this.

I would definitely donate my organs to science. Of course, there is the fear that the doctors/people in charge of these things would act too quickly and take your organs when they actually would have been able to keep you alive, but i doubt this happens too often. That would be really unethical and doctors who make such decisions for organ donors are highly trained in this area and no when the right time is. Furthermore, I don't think a doctor would have much incentive to take your heart, for example, unless s/he was sure it could no longer be of use to you. (Unless in the case where the doctor was a friend or family member of the person to whom you were donating an organ- that's a whole other story, but i would be surprised if such a thing would ever be legal.)

Thanks for sharing your points of view about being an organ donor when you die. At least have my heart intact with me when I die. LOL. That will be great. The rest of it; if legalized by the Government can take it away and such for other's health benefits. And they do have their grounds in making it legalized because if in one's country has a healthy nation; that means more production for the nation, more security and more achivements for the people because of the wellness of manpower's count

You know that every culture has their own thought. Like me, I'm from Taiwan which is an eastern country. In traditional Chinese culture, we assume that we have to keep our body entirely buried into ground. So the heaviest punishment in some dynasty is to split your body by horses. This is much more heavier than just kill you by other ways because you can't get your whole body back.
But I don't care about this. If my organ can help somebody alive, that means a part of me can still live in this world. Isn't it good?
If oneday I won't live long, I would rather give out my organ when I still breathing. I think this can keep the organs more fresh.

Nice thoughts despite of your Chinese culture. Thanks for the likes and we really do appreciate your thoughts about it.
Yes; it is really nice to appreciate the opportunity that you can help someone who's in need of your organ. Really a great idea here is that you'll be giving it in advance if you know that you're about to end your life for them to have it fresh and to buy more time in saving them.

my body is mine and unless i put it in a way that i am willing to donate my organs to people who may need them.
I think when people does die and we allow the government to just take whatever they can in the bodies of people without their family's consent will mean disaster - not that i do not trust our doctors here but we can be sure that it might happen that they can just let someone of less prominence die so that this person's organ goes to someone who can and will pay for it.

In my case, I would allow not the government but the medical doctors or other authorities to have my organ(s) being donated. Let's not forget that our body cells, hence our body organs, are God's creation. So when it's no longer in our use so why spare it? why don't we share it to our brothers and sisters needing that organ?

Maybe not. I'm not in favor of this for myself and my loved ones.
