Hi everyone
Recently I am working on a site called Scribie.com, Audio Transcription Outsourcing. It is a transcription site, how it works is after registering with them, and you wait for your test invitation. Everyone totally can have 10 tests. They paid 6 min audio transcription for $1 and etc bonus you can have. I already done 2. Okay..The first one it took me 45 min to finish the transcription, but due to the format not meet their requiremnt, so I got reject, they will open another 1 hour to eidt but I missed it. CUS I SIMIPLY DONT KNOW THIS RULE. The second one I sent it and they accepted for reviewed, a few days later, they told me I STILL GOT REJECTED, " IT SAYS THAT I GOT MORE THAN 2 ERROR PER 10 WORDS", I DO NOT MEET THEIR MINIMUM CRITIRIA". Well...I am just afraid that they are using people for 10 test but not paying them at all. The first raw transcription takes the longest time for that, once you accpeted for review, you are using my work without paying me? RIGHT NOW This audio is ready for sell, and they dont need to pay for the people work for them. IS THAT RIGHT?

Hello, I have not used this site, but I have heard about it through my professor. I am a student, just a few months from receiving my Associates in Applied Science of Medical Transcription degree. My professor says that Scribie.com is one of the best and that you have to have 98% accuracy or better to even get paid for your work through them. It is not a scam, it is a legitimate business. I am sorry that you have had your work rejected through them, though.

yeah cus they are using free workers to do thier work. What I feel most angry is that they took my transcription and they DID REVIEWED it and eidted, now the transcription is ready for the final review and after that is ready to give to thier customer, but they did not pay for the bottomer worker (me) to build the raw transcription to begin with.
IF YOU WANT TO REJECT ME, DONT USE MY TRANSCRIPTION.

I think the same too.
I was also a registered member there- but after few attempts and working for hours- my work was rejected.
So,after giving one more try- I've made at least 5 and all were rejected, then I stopped.
I hope someone here can give us more information too- as I am also a bit disappointed with scribie.

Thank you for your comment, I am sorry for your hard work and without getting paid, I am still thinking to continue or not, but I think they are not fair to us, they should change thier rule.

I haven't tried their site yet, but based on just reading your review, if your transcription ability is anything like what you've typed here it's no wonder you were rejected. Your spelling is horrible, missing letters and misplaced letters, and that is a necessity in transcribing. Just reviewing your work once slowly it would be very noticeable if you looked.
