Meteor Over the Western USA

A bright fireball occurred over California and Nevadaat approximately 8:00am PDT Sunday morning 22APR2012; may reports have been received of the bright blue/green DAYTIME fireball, louds boom(s) and earth shaking! http://lunarmeteoritehunters.blogspot.com/ It was the size of a washing machine, but lit up the sky and made a huge boom. Go to website and track the debrise trail and read reports of witnesses. And thank God it wasn't a big one.

It is a good thing they do burn up in the atmosphere. It is like a protective skin for us. The beauty of these things are really smashing. Of course if they are too big it might not be so nice.

I couldn't read much there. I read what the witnesses said but didn't see where it hit. I read there was a big boom. Hope no houses got hit.
