I think Jeremy Lin truly deserves this award, he has been awarded the most improved player title this year because of they way he played while Carmelo Anthony was out. The New York Knicks won 8 consecutive games because of the lift he gave for his team, very outstanding performance by this young talent. Ladies and Gentlemen, Jeremy Lin!

I do agree with you, Bigmoney25. Jeremy Lin indeed deserves the title. God bless him.

Jeremy Lin is a phenomenal player who shows his basketball talent to the world in an unexpected way. The only reason why he could not be chosen as the most improved player this season is his injury. It takes away many games from him and takes him off the race just like Rubio for rookie of the year award. By next season, if he gets healthy and still improves, he might get the award.

The title is so misleading. The NBA hasn't announced any award for their year-end as of yet, and number two, Jeremy Lin played in what, 30+ games for the Knicks? Marcin Gortat or someone else should be winning because they showed constant improvement for the whole season, not just for a stretch. Also, turnovers. But, yes, Jeremy Lin is for real and he would get paid once he signs a new contract, whether its with the Knicks or another team.

I think Jeremy Lin is one of the players that deserves the most improved award. There are a lot of players that deserves to be in that discussion. I can't mention other players because by far the most popular player is Jeremy Lin. I'm sure there are other players that will qualify for that award.

I agree. He's truly an inspirational player. I saw the game with the Lakers where he scored 38 points. He was really impressive and it just goes to show that hard work really pays off. He's a living proof that hard work wont go to waste.

Well considering that last year he was unknown with unknown skills and this year he is playing in Knicks and he is playing good too in many matches then I guess it is the right choice. If I had to chose from player that I knew their skills last year I'd probably chose Bynum or Harden.

I hadn't heard about this yet, but, the bottom line is that Jeremy Lin is the freakin' bomb. Anyone who does NOT want to give him his props is a hater, maybe because they are trying to say that he only got all this notoriety because he is Asian. Yes, he is Asian, but the boy can PLAY, PLUS he's got SWAG (and speaking from a woman's point of view, he is also GORGEOUS, not that--that has ANYthing to do with his game, I'm just sayin'...) He obviously has been doing a lot of practicing when no one was looking because you don't come from off THE BENCH, almost relatively UNKNOWN, playing THAT good unless you have been putting in some hours and hours and HOURS on your game. He's a Harvard man, he is SMART, AND he is used to hard work. He deserves ALL the hype and THEN some because he has worked hard for it.
