Upon reflection of being a eBay seller for over a period of three years, I have come to find that eBay seller fees have become too rich for my pocketbook. This may have been one of the main reasons why I have chosen eCRATER over ebay. How do you feel about eBay new seller fees, and customer service fees? And do you feel that eCRATER can become a seller's paradise to defeat eBay's dominance on the web?

well I think ecrater does not get enough publicity to ever compete on the level that ebay is at however there are many things that would need to be done to gain the confidence of both buyers and sellers however, in regards to your question I believe money wise it is a paradise to sellers. One also has to think about what services ecrater provides that will somehow draw sellers to the site, for example does the site have any type of seller and buyer protection against fraudulent transactions?.
Does it provide a safe network in which buyers wouldnt hesitate to use their credit cards or paypals? data encryption is very important.. It is a good altenative to ebay however the layout design of the site make it a little to primitive and simplistic and it doesnt exactly give you a professional marketplace feel. however, this is just my opinion

Thank you for the most wonderful response to this mylot post. I completely agree with you on a few things that eCRATER will need to do to ensure 100% buyers confidence. Now on the flip side of this conversation; ecrater is moving in the right direction, and believe me I am a part of this growing inspiring landscape. I will promote eCRATER to become a rival of eBay. Many eBay buyers may not be aware that eCRATER DOES HAVE MANY POLICIES TO PROTECT AGAINST SELLERS WHOM DO NOT FOLLOW ECRATER RULES, REGULATIONS, AND POLICIES. If you violate eCRATER policies your website pages will be shut down, and you may be banned for life, which I completely agree with this policy. 95% of sellers on eCRATER are honest hardworking people - and their desire is to make a sale, and close a sale, and in the process of growing their business, retain customers, which is the life-blood of any business.
