It is risky to design such a big cellphone

Last Sunday we went to the Samsung store to have a look. The Galaxy note is nice. However, its size is bigger than a cellphone and smaller than a tablet. So if you use it like a cellphone, it is a little embarrassing in my opinion. But if you regard it as a tablet, it seems it is smaller. If the price is cheaper, then I will consider it

Not a big problem to me~(^^)
My sister have one and it looks fine to me. My other sister had told me before that it looks funny to hold a bigger size phone (not the samsung galaxy note phone)when she and her friend saw someone use his/her tablet as phone. I can imagine it anyway but the samsung galaxy note size is just fine~(^^)

I don't understand how the size of a cellphone can be embarassing. Are you really that worried about what others think of you and your electronics? That might be the ideal phone for a person with a visual problem, who might want room for larger keys. A little small for a tablet, but a good size for a phone

It takes a lot to embarass me. To be embarassed one must care about what society thinks. I don't give a damn about society, I prefer to think for myself. Also, I am legally blind, so larger is better!!

Your right that's why I preferred to by the tab because I already have my smartphone. I can do mylot and call and text to my smartphone but the keyboard is too small. The galaxy tab or note is too large to become a phone unless you will use headset or earphone while taking a call.

Youless, indeed this cellphone is nice. But, same like you, i don't really like the size of this cellphone. It seems too big and hard to bring around like the other normal size cellphone. since i seldom bring along my handbag, so i think this cellphone not suitable for me.

I don't see any risks there. I personally love galaxy note and want to won one. But since i bought my galaxy S just a year ago, it feels kinda like a waste if I change it now so I'm just holding on to my old phone.
Anyway some of my friends have the note and it looks really nice. Especially the pictures come out pretty good!

yes the galaxy note is an hybrid smartphone-tablet anyway i never thought the dimensions can be a problem for me or my daily use and even features and specs are interesting the big problem about this device is the price because it is really expensive...

i have not seen it for real... like hold it, i have seen it on t.v though... the apps are quite interesting but i still find it expensive for my taste..
