I don't think it'll ever die, although some genres might but not the whole music. It's part of the humanity, we cannot separate it from people, it's a way of expressing one's self and people will create and produce more and more music just so they could satisfy the 'call'.
I couldn't even think of a world without it. That'll be...really dull and lonely.

I do not think music would die and be extinct. It is an essential part of our everyday lives. It soothes our spirits, calms our souls, fixes our broken hearts, gives us motivations and a lot more. It cannot be terminated since it is inert and we all have a music-loving gene inside us. If music will be gone, I guess the world will be a totally different one. One with no joy and happiness. A world that is boring and uninteresting. Music helps us in its own ways and has found its home inside people's heart. Hope that helped you in some way csay34. Cheers to all the music lovers out there. Godbless us all.
