Hello Lotters, Ever since he and family transferred to a new house, he's been basically doing what he wants lately. right now, am happy that he was able to acquire a puppy which i saw last week. I went to their house and help him out with some other things. then he told to have her cleaned out of fleas, i mean there was obviously a lot. i had cleaned out a few but there is still more in her body and some in her feet. when they took her to a vet she was recommended injection and soem medication but they can't afford the money ow to do that. instead i used a soap that is harmless and then kills the fleas. i but I still think they should have her checked. Have a nice day

i feel bad for the puppy poor little thing, i hope they get control of the fleas soon.. for the puppy's health.. i think you can buy a flea shampoo and use that to hep get rid of them its failrly cheap or they may be able to take the puppy to the groomers for a flea dip and bath usualy dont cost alot and is worth it.. but they will also have to get rid of them in there house as well they get in the carpets ect, through out the home and just keep coming back.. we use a monthly flea medication on our dog just put it on her back and rub in,, its very cheap and we have no fleas in years..

Hello Laken02, Yes i feel bad for the poor thing too, she's so innocent and cute that you can't afford not to take care of that puppy.wow, that's cool you get to have flea medication there once a month, it's actually expensive here, that's why we couldn't do it at all. but we have a soap that will get rid of the fleas.Have a nice day.

Oh, poor thing! I imagine she scratches a lot because of those pests! I suggest you to let the soap/shampoo on her coat for at least 15 minutes. This way most of the fleas will die. If you only put the soap on her hair and then rinse it right away, the fleas won't suffer too much. Even if you do the 15 minutes thing, the fleas won't disappear. You have to repeat the bath until there are no more fleas.

Hello Octavi, Yes, i can see her scratching when i came to their house and the first thing I did was to remove the fleas from both of her ears.as for that i think they bought shampoo and soap, but they will use these separately to ensure that fleas will die on her body. thank you for this advice, we gonna make sure that fleas disappear. have a nice day.

You are welcome! I know what a nuisance can be. My friend's dog has a dog that is allergic to fleas and the poor thing scratches so bad even if she has only one flea. I can only imagine how terrible must be for the little puppy to have so many fleas.

I experienced it first hand that giving puppies medication and immunizations are like as expensive as giving your own child their medications as well! they can be pretty expensive! Like you we cannot afford it so we resolve to using the soap that we have and thus killing the fleas...it might not go away immediately but it will.. hope the puppy stays healthy.

Hello Jazel_Juan, I am glad to know that you have experienced the first hand medication and immunization which you are right, very expensive. the puppy has probably not been medicated since the day she was born and always sleeping on the soil, that's not healthy to me, it attracts more and more fleas. have a nice day.

Hello Bhabycatch, Yeah i seemed to notice that with my dog last year, i remember taking her to bath 3 times a week. I've kinda use every soap available, until you have recommended the soap that actually removed all of the fleas that came from my dog, thank you for that.besides, they need it, for security and protection and it's nice to have a puppy that gives you time to play with. have a nice day.

I'd like to have a oet puppy or dog in the house but not allowed for now due to the kids that always play around the house. Maybe I could have one when they get a bit older.

Hello Ardoy0731, oh, that is very sad that you're not allowed to have puppies because of the kids. but you can always buy a big cage enough for the puppy to roam around a little.besides, they can also provide security to your house that prevents you from at least easily getting robbed.have a nice day.

So your brother adopted a puppy how nice of him and yes having a pet sure brings lot of happiness in your life..It is a good thing that you guys took her to the vet but its better that you give her the injection ASAP, and oh about the soap, make sure your vet approves of it...the soak might be harmful for your pet's skin as they have different requirements than us humans. Sometime ago when we adopted our pet, which is kitty, we washed her with a soap that caused allergic reaction that made her lose her hair, we literally went bald because of our stupidity, then we took her to vet, got her an injection and now everything is fine for her. I do recommend that you take her to the vet cause it would proof highly beneficial for her health. Take care

Hello Salma, Yes he haad finally adopted a puppy, but this wasn't the first time. the last one was given back because the house he was stayin before belongs to my aunt and boy, she didn't like puppies.they might have a public free injection this coming next week so we might as well attend to it and have a vacination. she's a puppy and i think we will be able to get rid of it before she grows up. have a nice day.

It depends also in environment you have, maybe there are lot of street dogs outside that the puppy can acquire. You must try to disinfect your surrounding with special chemicals to kill the fleas, my vet give me that kind of chemicals that can spray on surroundings and even for dogs. You can get out those fleas on his body but it will come back every now and then if you will kill fleas that around him. That was happened to my dogs and even with their puppies on our old house, but when we move here in our new house fleas are actually gone.

dear LK, My puppy was also infected with too much fleas. I patiently bath him everyday using special soap and shampoo while scrubbing the hair using a soft brush. It takes a week and thanks- he is fine now- a lively and sweet doggie :)

Hello Jaiho-sis, It has happened to you as well, huh? getting infected by fleas on your puppy? I don't know. I mean taking the puppy to bath almost every single day is something that could give her some colds or something. ok, i'd probably do that take her to bath every single day and then make sure that the flees disappear. thank you and have a nice day.

Fleas could kill a puppy thats too young. Dish soap helps too. Vacuum everything!!!!
